I just joined Artfight!! It’s honestly so much more fun than I thought it would be. Anyways, I added this guy as a character. You can find me here under Sword-Dancer.

Brief description: this creature ‘befriends’ humans with its unassuming face and voice (coos and chirps). Once the human brings other humans- thinking the creature is safe- the creature will eat all of them.

TADC EPISODE 9 REALIZATION:

I don’t know if it was that clear to other people, but it just hit me now that the scene with Caine running for the free WiFi door is merged with a flashback of past him (baby red dot) accessing the brains and for the first time. Like a parallel. This is probably why Scratch appeared. It was the first time Caine brought the brain scans to life… and the time he formed a body.

Meanwhile, in the present, it’s Caine sort of accessing the WiFi. Maybe the shapes were him trying to guess the password? Anyways, it makes sense with how the dot ended up with brain scans and Scratch’s first appearance while present Caine ends up with unrestricted internet access and has the cast’s names in his pocket.

My Neighbor Totoro is one of my favorite Studio Ghibli movies alongside Ponyo and Kiki’s Delivery Service. Honestly, I can’t really draw grass… or treetops… leaves in general.

I just caught up with Mermaid Tales, and gosh darn it, Jess is so amazing!! Also I panicked so much during episode 13 with that song 😭 I just had to draw Aph while waiting for the next upload. I’m torn between with or without the colorful layer though…
