Quinn Fabray. 17. Head Cheerio. Future Prom Queen.
"I’ve been accused of being cold, snobbish, distant. Those who know me well know that I’m nothing of the sort. If anything, the opposite is true. But is it too much to ask to want to protect your private life, your inner feelings? Lots of things touch me and I don't want to be indiscreet." - Grace Kelly

"Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Proverbs 31:30
“Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany’s. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that’d make me feel like Tiffany’s, then… then I’d buy some furniture and give the cat a name!" - Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961)
I didn’t ask her out, Q. I’m just taking her to BreadstiX. It’s not like she’s even interested in me. I ain’t even interested in her. She’s funny, she’s cool and it’s two friends hanging out. So you do feel something for me? All the more reason to let me take you out on a proper date. Puckzilla and the rest of the nicknames won’t make an appearance. Yeah, shit is getting outta hand. I always wanted to live in a real life zombie apocalypse but now that it might be true, shit is freaking me out.
Are you sure about that? Because it kind of sounded like a date to me. I shouldn’t have said anything, your ego is already inflated enough. No nicknames? That’s tempting. I’ll think about it. I don’t see why anyone in their right mind would want to live in a world with a zombie apocalypse, but I do agree that it’s getting frightening. Although I am surprised to hear you admit that you’re scared... what with you being so tough and all.
Maybe we can hang out sometime? Just us two, like a date? No pressure though cuz I know I’m all over the place when it comes to your ass. Yeah, that’s what I’m saying. I dunno if its cuz I watch too much tv or play too many video games but I don’t see how this could be some publicity stunt ya kno?
I would be inclined to accept... if I didn’t know that you had already asked Brittany out. Puck, I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t still feel something for you, but I’m not going to tolerate just being one of many girls you’re going out with at once. Not again. I wanted to believe this was all just some dumb practical joke, but that doesn’t seem feasible anymore. I don’t usually jump to conclusions, but I’m beginning to think that there are a lot of things that the government isn’t telling us.
I don’t not believe it? I’m still trying to remain optimistic, but it’s hard with everything that’s happening. I wish it was just dumb kids fooling around, but I really don’t think that’s the case.
I really don’t want to buy into all of this, but I’m starting to think you’re right. It was easy to ignore when things were just happening in New York, but now that they’re moving closer to home it’s getting much more worrisome.
I guess, though my preferred escape from the real world looks a hell of a lot more tropical. I can’t say I’m surprised that you’re standing strong in the face of weird crap. And it’s not like Sue hasn’t put us through enough hell to last three lifetimes. Everything else at this point should be a breeze, right?
True. Ohio is about as far removed from paradise as you can get. I’m going to ignore that backhanded compliment and simply agree with you - if we can survive Sue, we can survive anything. But I can’t exactly pretend that things are perfectly fine anymore, either.
I think that you two are just going to be friends that fight. That’s why I’m here to keep you from digging your claws too deep.
He’s been experimenting with ecstasy since his last breakup. It’s very sad. I feel like Amanda Bynes’ mom.
We’ll save it for off season, if you two can’t get along before then. Maybe we can find some of those padded bats for now? I’m sure she would love to hit you with one.
Are you sure? And it’s practically a tradition, now. Puck and Cheerios, Cheerios and Puck.
I know, and I’m truly thankful for it. I don’t know what either of us would do without you, Britt.
I’m sorry to hear that - I thought he was on his way to recovery. Maybe a little time away from the limelight would do him some good.
I know she would. We might have to have that mud wrestling fight someday after all, now that I think about it.
I’m sure. Just because things are a little...odd between Puck and I right now doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go for it if you want to date him.
You’d get what you wanted last year. Better late than never, right?
Good, you’re our best dancers. It’s…I–I shouldn’t have brought that up. My throat like…stings when I think about it. And I fear for every chair next to me. It’ll pass someday, I think.
Sorry! I finished this game called Dying Light a couple of weeks ago and I’m still pretty pumped about it.
I don’t want to jump to conclusions, of course, but that would certainly be a wonderful outcome.
Thanks Finn. Singing isn’t always my strong suit, but I do love dancing. No, it’s fine. I don’t like taking about it either but it’s…oddly therapeutic, too. It’s okay to think about the past sometimes. But you also have to learn to let it go.
Isn’t that one of those terrible horror games? I don’t understand why you like those; they’re so creepy.
You’re not the first to incorrectly suggest that we’ve suffered a devastating loss now that Jesse is not the lead. We’re going to do spectacularly this year. Him not singing the lead in every song doesn’t change much, so I’m confident we’ll once again reach Nationals this year.
A team needs a star - the Cheerios have me, New Directions have Rachel…you just admitted that your star led you to Nationals last year, so what makes you think that you’ll be able to be successful again without Jesse at the helm? Do you have another secret weapon or something?
Thanks for that Hallmark compliment, Q. It’s kinda weird how we’ve gotten closer but not so much since Beth? I dunno, I’m just glad you didn’t shut me out. That woulda freakin sucked. Lets stop talking about food, I’m gonna continue eating whatever I want. Bacon, definitely not being on the menu. What do you think bout that Walker incident?
It is unusual, I suppose. But as I said, it’s actually helped me cope a bit by talking about it with you in some weird way. Things would have been much harder if we weren’t on speaking terms. You obviously still haven’t developed a sense of good taste - bacon is one of life’s greatest pleasures. To be honest, these “walker” things are starting to scare me a little. At first I thought it was just some stupid prank or publicity stunt, but it’s getting harder and harder to believe that.
If Mr. Schue is going to have us holed up in some Motel 6 this weekend, I will personally turn that bus right around. I’m obviously a Hilton kind of girl, but I can’t tell what’s going to be worse–hearing Rachel’s snores rattle the entire establishment all night, or going to Columbus after all those weird reports. I guess I’m just not really in the singing mood.
Despite the fact that the accommodations (and company in certain cases) will obviously be less than satisfactory, I think this trip could be refreshing. The reports about those attacks are getting old, so some time away from the real world might be nice…even if it is spent at a disgusting motel singing with a show choir.
I’m not saying I thought it would end, but I’m not not saying I thought it would end. You know though, there are a bunch of people thinking it’ll end soon ‘cause of Sunday’s blood moon. I really don’t think it’s like a sign of the end times or anything like that, but… there is a lot of stuff happening that’s making me think twice about it. Don’t even get me started on what happened with that “Walker Attack” stunt or whatever people want to call it.
Sam, please tell me you didn’t seriously believe that nonsense about the end of the world. And I’m convinced that those “attacks” are just stupid kids messing around...they have to be.
And the same is true for Vocal Adrenaline. So if we’re both improving, I don’t think too much will be different. The outcome will still be the same.
I’d beg to differ. I have no doubt that Vocal Adrenaline is still talented, but we’re more prepared than ever before to win this year. And your star Jesse St. James is gone, which will be devastating for your group, I’m sure.
Wha–? uh, I dunno. I’ll probably get picked without even campaigning, anyway. I don’t think dudes care as much. And I’m the quarterback so, I kinda have it in the bag.
Marshmallows are never beside the point, Quinn. Oh…okay, I’m glad. I’m pretty sure we’d lose Brittany and Santana if you did. I think sometimes the future changes, you know? Like…one day I was gonna be a dad, and I wanted to teach my kid how to kick his first football. And I was worried about jobs and money… But then I wasn’t a dad anymore, and the future wasn’t the same. So i had to deal with it.
What? Zombies are cooler than Jesus. Though he could walk on the water, that was pretty badass.
I’m sure you will. Wouldn’t that be something, you and I on the homecoming court together?
True, we’re kind of a package deal. Luckily for glee club, the Unholy Trinity isn’t going anywhere. I know, and I know that all of that was my fault. My life was just changing so fast, and I didn’t know how to handle it. It…wasn’t fair of me to drag you down with me as I faced my mistakes. I’m sorry.
I cannot believe what I just read, Finn. Zombies are not, and never will be, “cooler” than Jesus Christ.
Well what can I say, Q. You brought a lot of the good qualities out of me and I swear I’m not saying that crap just to be “charming”. Shit was kinda cheesy though, huh? You sound like my ma and that’s just weird. There’s only one temple I care about and it’s the one I go to during the Jewish holidays. You guys have freakin hot bods, of course I’m not complaining. I’m just saying ya’ll should eat every once in awhile.
I do tend to bring out the best in people, don’t I? Well, you’re a good guy underneath all your bravado, Puck. I mean that, as terribly cliché as it sounds. Maybe it’ll finally occur to you that your mother has a point, then. Your dietary habits are atrocious. I eat plenty; I just choose to eat things that keep me looking and feeling my best.
I am of that belief, yes. I haven’t been given any reason to believe otherwise either.
Just because Vocal Adrenaline won handily last year doesn’t mean that the same will be true this year. Rest assured that our glee club will be back and better than ever this season.
That’s because it is petty and pointless. But I know that you two will never stop fighting over something.
Of course they will! And Lord Tubbington might be banned from the show for a little while. Charity’s SUV got towed and she swears it was his fault.
Oh, mud wrestling wont help either of you, but we can sell tickets and use the money to pay for the damage you two cause to each other.
Also is it okay if I go to dinner with Puck? After last year I thought I should ask in case he’s like… off limits.
What can I say? It comes with the territory, I suppose.
That’s unfortunate, has he been smoking again or something? I don’t see how he could have anything to do with a towed car though.
That might not be a great idea, Britt... an injury to two of the best girls on the squad wouldn’t be good for the Cheerios right now, especially one not related to any real cheer events.
No, that’s fine. I didn’t know you were interested in him.
