I believe that following Convey is participating in the continuous flow of creativity, which in turn is part of our unlimited source of positive energy - which undoubtedly unites us to where we are now. In a philosophical way, I let the creative minds think about (WHO, WHAT and HOW) Who we really are, What skills we actually have and How we can achieve our goals in society, while helping each other. I do this by posting knowledge packed in various forms and perspectives, influenced by music, art and design.

Why isn't implicit bias being talking about more in the news? I feel like it's the solution to so many our problems around race relations but not enough people are discussing!

I think raising our awareness and understanding of unconscious bias/implicit bias can help us address issues of inequity and inclusion. It is not the complete answer.  The impact of unconscious/implicit bias also needs to be acknowledged. Organizations, schools, workplaces, places of worship will want to address the impact of unconscious bias, and the ways in which it can be addressed.

There are systemic challenges and historic legacies that also impact many aspects of our lives (housing, education, the criminal justice system, etc.) We also will need to take at our individual identities, our own power, privilege, access, and how we have lived in the world.

Featuring shredded coats, swathes of colorful tulle and the influence of reconstruction paired with a contemporary take on folklore, the latest couture collection by Maison Margiela is mirroring the faces of society and social media.

Being the creative director of the renowned French luxury fashion house since October 2014, John Galliano returns with an artisanal collection inspired by intersections between past and present. It is said that reportage photographs of American hippies from the ’60s and political graffiti work by Shepard Fairey have been on the designer’s pinboard, evoking a valiant mix of tall hats, folksy skirts, and naive wool embroideries.

The look which probably stands out the most is a face emerging from black tulle over a white coat in bonded cotton and was created in collaboration between the house and artist Benjamin Shine.
