AU where all Asian countries and their folklore exist— but rarely crossover or acknowledge each other's domain, essentially living in their own worlds despite being on the same planet ((SWK must’ve reached India during JTTW somehow... And also serve as an this is an excuse to explain Mac’s white fur due to being a japanese macaque)).
When Mac finds out that he's pegnant, self-destructive delusions are triggered. He gets paranoid about the Heavenly Realm harming them, so he decides to leave FFM and Megapolis to roam the world outside of Heavens reach— Which he is fortunately familiar with due to living as a traveling nomad before finding FFM. He continued to roam the Outside for a while, often teleporting to Wukong to give souvenirs and tell stories of travels. Until Wukong eventually asked if Mac would consider settling down on FFM— at least as a place he's welcome to stay for when, if he ever decides to, "take a break" from roaming.
Mac’s powers and glamors were drained during prenancy and after, taking months to recover.
PIF is his sworn sister and her family are the only ones who knows about the kids ((it’s not meant to be kept secret, but no one bothered to ask where Macaque is no there’s no reason to tell anyone)).
Macaque leaves abruptly and without telling anyone, so it takes a few weeks before anyone starts questioning his absence.
Wukong is the first to be worried since they'd quietly been in the process of rekindling their friendship and working on possibly going back to being more than friends.
Part of the AU follows Wukong searching for Macaque; trying to piece together where he is, as well as contemplating the possibility that he's looking for someone who might not want to be found.... If only there was a way to let him know how much Macaque wants more than anything to not be alone.
