Ok people talk shit about Taylor’s style choice but CAN WE TALK ABOUT ISAAC FOR A SECOND??

It started out well, but really went downhill as I scrolled.

Ok, as I said before. Their songs are taken *privately* by them. If they want you to know the meaning of a song, you will know it. When they *don’t* want the true meaning to be known, they are going to fucking backpedal from what’s been said, i.e. the story is true behind the song is true, yes, but it’s not for the fans to understand or know. She leaked it, Zac says back off. Private to the band, savvy? Now, as for Zac…no. He contributes almost the same amount as Taylor does. To say that he lacks talent and he doesn’t add to the band in a significant way is flat out bullshit. There is no “leader” in Hanson. This has been said, by them, many times over since day one. If they are repeating the same thing over and over again, maybe people should take some notes or just pay attention. Taylor does not want the damn attention of being the lead singer or the head of Hanson, if he did, he’d be fighting to get that point across, not telling you over and over that he’s *not*. /rant

Zac’s answer came before Ellen’s interview so he wasn’t telling her to back off or anyone to back off. I think it’s more likely Zac doesn’t know the story that Taylor told her therefore to him it could be that he doesn’t know it’s based off a true story or he simply doesn’t remember as time has a way of making people forget things sometimes.

None of their songs are taken privately at all. They mostly tell the meanings of them and if they don’t it’s because they want the listener to make it their own and make their own interpretations. Not that it’s something private or secret for them.

Could you please cite your source for that? I know a Hanson personally and he has made it more than clear that they take their songs privately. When they are open with fans about a song, it was written in good fun and they can share. When they say “make it your own”, congrats you just found a true song! No real meaning for you, that’s a personal matter they don’t want to share with the general public or fanbase.
