- Shockwave finds attachments and emotions useless and a distraction from a goal.

- Shockwave hates Starscream, not because he was SIC and close to Megatron but because he could have use the benefits better than the seeker has, and considers it a waste.

- Shockwave had to often use the shooting simulations when he was undercover, to refrain himself from actually killing an Autobot. He was very easily annoyed by them.
