im learning deutsch right now and thought maybe you can recommend some deutsch media?? like your fav cartoons/books/bands/shows/etc

Lovely question! I tried to collect some material for you.

Shows: Die Sendung mit der Maus (popular german kids show. Great if youre a beginner). Sadly, most that come to mind are childrens TV shows, but I´d watch as many shows and movies in the german dub.

Books/Authors: Cornelia Funke (mostly YA novels, I grew up with them), Franz Kafka, Hans Rath and yeah thats all I got for now

Bands: Rammstein (obviously), Faun, AnnenMayKantereit, Alligatoah, Falco, Die Ärzte, TJ_Beastboy, Edwin Rosen, CRO, Nina Chuba, Peter Fox, Culcha Candela, Nena, Tokio Hotel,Juju, Namika...I hope some of those suit your taste.
