Between Lanes - Chapter Three
Rin's face hovered only inches from his own now, close enough for Haru to see droplets of water trembling against his lashes, to feel the heat leaching from his body into the water. Close enough that every uneven breath ghosted hotly against his mouth.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" The words came low and rough, edged with a snarl far more dangerous than anger.
Haru's pulse slammed violently against his ribs, but he couldn't look away. Water slid slowly from Rin's hair onto his skin, down the sharp line of his jaw, and suddenly Haru was thirteen again, breathless and stunned in the silence of an empty corridor.

Over the last few weeks I’ve been posting my RinHaru fic over on AO3, but it’s not had a huge amount of traction yet. It’s a canon rewrite that takes place alongside the anime, but with extra scenes, and some significant changes along the way. I’m really excited about this story and I would love it if anyone decided to give it a read! <3
