For just one second, look at your life and see how perfect it is. Stop looking for the next secret door that is going to lead you to your real life. Stop waiting. This is it: there’s nothing else. It’s here, and you’d better decide to enjoy it or you’re going to be miserable wherever you go, for the rest of your life, forever.

Something positive to start your week
Music is the universal language. Does that mean I'm bilingual???😳😳
Life would be incredibly boring without an imagination
“It is without a doubt the hardest thing watching the person you love, love someone else.”
Another random quote for the day. One a little closer to the heart
Everyone is a main character to someone.

BACK!
Okay, I'm back. It's been over a month and I have a lot of things to share! Hopefully from now things will be a little more frequent and more creative rather than long rants about things. I don't really have anything right now but until then, - Your curly haired comrade
Hmmmm
it's funny how once you take a break from the major things -such as school- in your life all the little things around you start to fall apart.
I’ve been on holiday for one week and so far my routine has changed drastically. From waking up at 5am and getting ready to leave the house before 6:50, to waking up at 8:45 and barely ready to do anything by 10.
So what have I done with my week?
well, I’ve watched 20 hours worth of K-dramas and roughly 10 hours worth of youtube videos covering all sorts of topics. I’ve been to the gym twice and done a decent amount of walking around the city. I went to piano class twice and violin once, I also started learning Korean. I haven’t done NOTHING, but I still feel like I haven’t done enough. There has been no progress on the garden. I think I’m going have to start in small garden pots then slowly work onto bigger projects.
This is my weekly update and hopefully, next weeks is more interesting.
But until then,

Fear
Okay, So I feel like I’ve done nothing today. I did wake up super early and do a bunch of stuff, but I also spent the whole afternoon asleep and then watched two episodes of a TV show and a movie after that.
This week, I donated blood for the first time in my life. I dislike doctors and hospitals and places that take care of people who cant take care of themselves. I’m not sure if its a cleanliness issue or seeing sick people, I just don’t like it, and always try to get out of it. But on Tuesday, I decided to donate blood. I don’t actually do a lot of ‘nice’ things for people and I felt that by donating blood, I would at least help someone with some issue without having to be there in person. I always try to tell people who are worried about needles or injections that its fine, but in fact, I’m terrified of injections and needles going into my body. I’m terrified of the doctor checking my blood pressure or looking inside my ear. I’m no fan of the dentist drilling into my mouth or taking an x-ray.
Anyway, when I face this fear, I feel that each time a little bit of that fear goes away. I have major dental issues, I like to say I have perfect teeth but there is only one tooth that causes trouble. When I was little, I was so scared of going to the dentist that I ignored the little crack in the tooth, then I ignored the hole that was created because of the crack, then I ignored the pain until it got so bad that I had to go to the dentist. Now, four fillings, 10 injections, one extraction and a root canal later, I’m no longer scared of the dentist.
I was glad when the doctor said I was healthy enough to donate; but, at the same time, I didn’t want to actually go through with the whole thing. Even if I freaked out a bit I did it. I took my shoes off and got into the bed and let the doctor inject a needle into my vein. Straight away, I wanted it out, It hurt a lot and it didn’t go away. People always say the pain goes away after a few minutes. I think, your brain just gets used to it being there and you forget about it. After about ten minutes it was time to take the needle out and that hurt a lot too and they put a band-aid on that was hell to take off. But in the end, I saved three lives and that was way more important than a little needle.
This was supposed to be some sort of weekly update but it turned into some ‘facing your fears’ rant. Don’t worry, there will be many weekly updates and probably a few more rants. But until then,

Routines
Here I am Again. I haven’t actually made up my mind on whether or not I want to post every day. I probably won’t, because I can get really busy and having to write every day will become more of a chore than a leisure activity. Since production has ended -I’ll explain that later- I’ve been trying to get back into my regular routine. I personally believe that having a routine makes everything so much better because you have a feeling of purpose and you constantly know what has to be done. I also strongly believe in To Do lists especially when the workload starts becoming too much to handle. Anyway, my regular routine is doing exercise at least five days a week and practising the piano almost every day. I’m slowly getting back into an exercise routine which is good because I’ve hardly done anything these last few weeks. I’m also slowly getting into my piano practice routine but I’m going to need to put some hard work into that. I’m aiming for 30 minutes to an hour each day. My violin routine is not as strict because there is none, however, during the holidays I’m going to aim for at least three times a week.
This is all I have to say for today. Until then,

DIVERGENT
Today, I was going through some old notebooks and came across a quote I had written a while ago. It was said by one of my favourite characters from the Divergent Series about pushing through the hard times.
‘There are many ways to be brave in this world. Sometimes bravery involves laying down your life for something bigger than yourself, or for someone else. Sometimes it involves giving up everything you have ever known, or everyone you have ever loved, for the sake of something greater. But sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it is nothing more than gritting your teeth through the pain, and the work of every day, the slow walk toward a better life. that is the sort of bravery I must have now’. -Four
I think being surrounded by little sayings or quotes is a great way to stay inspired and to keep your head in the game. There are always going to be people out there that will try to steal your dreams or discourage you. But having these things around and being able to encourage yourself is so important. * I’m still not quite sure how to end these things. Give me some time and I should be able to come up with something cool.
Until then, your curly haired comrade
17 years of life experience
So, from today I can comfortably say I have 17 years of life experience. 17 is not a lot compared to many people but it is to me because I am the oldest I’ve ever been. I cant say I haven't done anything SUPER impressive.
However, I have come very far especially these last few years. I’ve found friends that I love spending time with and I’m in an amazing school filled with amazing people from all over the world. I’ve found things that interest me and I’ve been able to excel at things I’m good at.
Never did I feel hopeless or frustrated with what or who I had become. Of course, there are times I’m ashamed of something I’ve said or done but I’ve learnt my lessons and have forgiven myself.
Bear Grylls is a huge role model in my life and one thing that he has taught me that try to follow every single day is ‘Be the most enthusiastic person you know’ I probably would be a completely different person if I did not live by that quote and because of that, I look at a new day with optimism and excitement.
Anyway, I just wanted to speak my mind on my birthday, I’ve got a lot going on right now and will do a proper update when I can.
For now, I’m going to have to think of a cool ending to these blogs.
About Me
so before I get cracking away to telling you all about my plans and actions. I guess you need to know me a little better. I’m a 17-year-old girl who lives on a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean- no, I’m not Moana.
I’m in my second last year of high school and like most people I struggle to speak my mind- I guess this is the perfect place to do that. I love photography and crafts and am all about the aesthetic life, I watch way too much youtube and eat way too much junk food.
I love music and life in general. To me, living is one of the most beautiful things, and being happy is very important. I value my friends, I don't have many but I love them all and wouldn't know what to do without them.
I know I’m probably not going to become a famous online blogger but your girl gotta dream. I think it’s going to be fun to look back at this blog in 10 years and reflect on how different life is from now.
* FUTURE ME: let's see if you can remember the setting, I’m sitting at my desk listening to some Charlie Puth and cat is by my side being annoying but really cute at the same time.
Genesis: The Begining
Hey guys, I’ve decided to start writing a blog about my daily or weekly happenings; talking about everything and anything. I’ve been thinking about starting this blog for a while and I’m going to use it as a way to stick to habits and improve the fluency of writing as this is becoming a problem for me personally. Especially since most of us talk through messenger or Instagram we only write short sentences.
At the beginning of the year, I had a whole lot of plans to change my life. It is now nearing the end of May and I’m going to get to work on it before the middle of the year. I want to improve my eating and exercise habit because they are TERRIBLE. I also want to start a small vegetable garden, just for the experience.
I’m also really interested in photography and crafts so that it something you can look forward to reading. I want to write about whats happening in life as well as I’m in my final years of high school and will be transitioning to university at some point and I’m pretty sure there are going to be a lot of things to write about.
