Why the types are dangerous: INFJ
They want to be the very best. Like no one ever was. For real.
Experts at concealing their emotions from everyone
They soak in information like a sponge and youāll never even notice it
INFJs can be hyper-critical of everything and everyone and if you ask for the truth youāre going to get roasted
They have a secretive and mysterious air about them that makes them shady as heck
INFJs have a presence about them that you will always miss until you are with them again
How to Understand Your INFJ: Part 1
1. Accept that you will never really understand your INFJ. If it were possible for anyone to 100% understand any INFJ, an INFJ would have wrote a book on it by now. But the truth is, even we INFJs canāt completely understand ourselves, so we donāt expect you to. But we can tell when youāre trying, and that means a lot.Ā
2. Listen to what your INFJ is not saying. You know the quote that goes something like āthe quietest people have the loudest mindsā? That is very true of INFJs. The quieter we are, the more we probably have on our minds. We want friends and partners who understand that and will want to talk to us about it, and more importantly, listen.
3. Know that INFJs really arenāt that serious. Yes, we have a lot on our minds. Yes, we can be sensitive. Yes, we like to partake in serious discussions and debates at times. But we are happiest when we can just be playful, carefree and weird with someone who accepts that side of us.Ā
4. If youāre not happy, your INFJ is not happy. If someone we love is upset, we take on their feelings as our own. We are extremely empathetic. Sometimes even the sadness in the eyes of the person checking us out at the grocery store is enough to dampen our mood for the rest of the day. This is a quality that makes INFJs different from a lot of other types. We value people who understand this and donāt take every mood shift personally. Itās just hard when you feel what everyone else is feeling all the time.Ā
5. INFJs can be very stubborn. INFJs hate conflict and avoid it as much as possible, but if you hit the right nerve we will jump in and defend our opinions and values to the death. Later we will probably secretly try to understand your perspective (because weāre always trying to understand everything about everyone) and that might even cause us to agree with you a little, but we wonāt tell you that. ;)Ā
6. INFJs can forgive, but we never forget. If you hurt us and then apologize, weāll probably forgive you and give you a second chance. But we will never forget the hurt we felt and we will be cautious around you for awhile afterwards.Ā
7. INFJs are experts at hiding their feelings. We tend to bottle a lot up inside, so on the outside everything appears completely fine. Even the most intuitive types (except maybe other INFJs) canāt typically tell when an INFJ is upset. We both like this and hate this about ourselves.
8. INFJs feel a lot of responsibility, always. We need to make sure everyone is happy, but we also need to be there to listen to everyoneās problems. We need to make sure everything on a project goes right, but we also need to make sure everyone working on the project gets a say in what is happening. We need to make sure we get there on time, but donāt want to make anyone upset by rushing them. We are internal perfectionist and put a lot of pressure on ourselves. But we donāt come across as a typical type A personality because those type of people stress people out and we donāt want to stress anyone out. So we just keep our perfectionism to ourselves and it drives us crazy a little.Ā
Part 2 coming soon.
Auxiliary Fe Battles
ISFJ: I donāt know; what sounds good to you?
INFJ: No but like, what would *you* like to do?
INFJ Confession
Iām addicted to tests like personality tests and ālearningā things about myself through them (things that I probably already knew about myself before taking these tests). Itās so fun.
INFJ Confession
I think that we INFJs can feel and sense beauty very deeply. For me, at least, seeing a glorious sight or hearing beautiful music or even just experiencing a tiny miracle, like stargazing or watching a spider make its web, I feel an ache inside. Itās taken me years to identify it, but now Iāve realized that itās a longing to be a part of the beauty I see around me, everywhere. More than anything, I want to be a piece of it. I think that all of those little things make up a heaven on earth.
REBLOG IF ITS OKAY TO TALK TO YOU.

INFP vs INFJ
INFP: Dresses like a fairy princess librarian headed to Comic-Con. INFJ: Owns seven pairs of the same exact black pants, all perfectly-pressed.
INFP: IāM HAVING FEELS! INFJ: YOUāRE HAVING FEELS! Wait. Iām also having feels. Cannot compute. I shall help you with your feels and ignore my own until they hopefully go away.
INFP: I LOVE HUMANITY! (volunteers, donates to charity in appreciation) INFJ: I HATE HUMANITY! (volunteers, donates to charity anyway)
INFP: Always ridiculously late or inconveniently early. INFJ: Always right on time.
INFP: Drinks hot cocoa with heaps of whipped cream and sprinkles.Ā INFJ: Drinks black coffee by the gallon.
INFP: All-feeling. INFJ: All-knowing.
INFP: WHY CANāT EVERYONE JUST BE KIND TO EACH OTHER? INFJ: WHY CANāT EVERYONE JUST FUCKING BE POLITE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY.
Conversations with an INFJ
If we are unfamiliar with a conversation topic or havenāt thought much about it, we will nod and make general comments while our brain frantically tries to think of something informative to say. Unfortunately, that āsomethingā usually strikes us about a week later in the shower when the conversation is no longer relevant. #thestruggleisreal
INFJ Issues
Sometimes I really hate being that friend that will always listen. People just come to me and say whatever theyāre feeling or even what they did the other day. But if I try to talk I get shrugged off, ignored, or cut off. What the hell is this bullshit?
INFJ Confession #3050
I crave deep conversations with others. I desire someone whoās obsessed with the idea of new possibilities, who has a great imagination, and is willing to see the world in more ways then one. Someone who thinks outside the box, and is not stuck in the boring confines and ideals of this society and universe. Such a person would be a dream to me.
Anyways hereās a pic of my new tattoo, which I stick and poked myself. I had a few spurts of anxiety today when people looked at my tattoo and saw my scars. I actually didnāt want to associate the tattoo to my scars. I chose to have this baby tattooed on my arm because I felt the need to remind myself that when I punish myself for not taking care of myself in all shapes and forms, I should look at whether I learnt those tools as a child. And if I didnāt, I treat myself the way I would treat a child, taking myself seriously and learning new skills one step at a time.
