Now we have Supergirl, the male characters are written with excitement in a show about female lead. Can you imagine Kara dating a guy she called a toxic jerk. Does this mean Kara likes men who treat her like shit. Was it hard to introduce William as a man who is decent and doesn't disrespect Kara opinion. This is not fantasy women experience real abuse outhere . A man insulting you and constantly disrespecting your opinion then pretending to like you. That scene between Kara and William felt like William felt Kara showed care and was worried about his safety. he will now decided to get into her pants because of his assumptions her being nice to him. Fuck boys and their bare minimum.

If they can't let Lena be good let her be the big bad why is lex replacing her. This show just Hates women.

I find it hilarious that white people (generally white straight boys) get so pissy about POC dressing up as Cap/wearing his emblems. Like Sam Wilson has taken up the mantle twice now, not to mention America Chavez from the Young Avengers. Anyway, the problem with Mon El is that he tends to be sexist a lot. He’s been written in as a weak character. A dick that’s hard for someone to like. As some one who has both dated and seen men like that, it’s just hard to see Kara with someone who’s like that. Lena shows unconditional love, whether platonic or more, towards her. Something Mon El just doesn’t do, which is weird because he and Kara are actually dating. He says that she makes him weak, though all of the other characters say the contrary. It’s also annoying to see such a sexist man in the spot light again, though actually dating the main character when Kara could get someone better man or woman, someone better.
