Hello!!

I've seen a few new peeps following ol' Cooper's blog and I wanna say hi!

And it's been a while so why don't I introduce the big guy to ya?

About Cooper

Cooper is a large and rugged character. He is straightforward and has a tough shell.

Though Coop can be blunt at times and has little to no filter for what he says if he knows you, he’ll try and be careful to keep a lid on the more offensive things. He means well.

He’s got a soft spot for cats and when he’s happy and in good company he involuntary purrs, like a big soft kitty himself.

If you make him angry and he will either walk away without a word or glare daggers. He doesn’t like to fight.

His Birthday is March 22

Inventory:

- Keys (has a hello kitty chain and he still hasn’t trashed it)

- A black and white picture of him and his sister when they were young.

Oh, what's up guys. Been a long time huh? Nearly a couple years if I remember right.

Well, I'm just gonna put it 'ere an' say the time ah've spent with yous lot were one of the greatest times ah've ever had. (and that's coming from the Mun as well!) I know Tumblr as a platform has been changin' alot in the past couple years, and Mun has changed from bein' here to bein' on twitter now, and also streamin' fer a community now as well! They've also been goin' to Uni. Good for 'em! They deserve to get that higher education !

In any case, I'm jus' popping back here to let ya know that while Mun is now movin' on an' up in the world they do still remember all the good times they had here. So I'mma plug their shit so go follow 'em on Twitch an' twitter

On that note, I'mma head off, My sis is waitin' for me at the train station and she don't like bein' kept waitin'.

Boss took another swig of his drink but choked on it when Cooper mentioned his sister's possible whereabouts. He quickly gulped it down to prevent spewing the red liquid everywhere but it took Boss a moment of sputtering and coughing to clear the sauce of his throat.

"A-A brothel?! Why in Underfell would the king station a female guard by herself near there?! Is she that good at her job or is he mad?!"

Boss truly hoped for Verdy's sake she was talented at scouting or the Asgore in this world was a fool. While Asgore from Boss's world wasn't exactly the kindest soul to come across, he at least made an attempt at keeping the guards staffed well enough that they wouldn't have to face situations on their own. To send a female guards of any rank solo near such a place though didn't sound like something a sane ruler would do though.

"And I don't mind taking us 6 hours away if you have a map or photos I can use as guidance but a vehicle might be a bit difficult to 'drop in' with." Boss used air quotations as he spoke.

"It's both. Verdy is amazin at her job, and can easily get out of a sticky situation but Asgore is straight up insane, and probably is takin his frustrations of me out on her. All 'cuz his 'prized guard' left."

Cooper spat out the name Asgore, almost as if it was too vile to say normally. Being Asgore's number one has its draw backs when leaving.

He perked up when Boss mentioned maps and photos.

"I got a real detailed map of the area around there. Gimme a sec I'll grab it!"

He downed the rest of his coffee, that was still steaming, and rushed out of the room further into the house.

Boss barely had enough time to respond before Cooper bolted out of the room to retrieve the maps. He wondered if he should join in the search but opted for finishing his cup of sauce first.

...Now that he thought about it, that sounded like something the king would do if he didn't like or was upset with someone. Boss had always been in good graces with his Asgore because of his ambitious patrolling before so he rarely questioned what would happen to someone who wanted out. Actually...what would become of him too if he ever returned to his own universe? Guilt crept down his spine and he chugged down his sauce in an attempt to bury it. Once the cup was empty, Boss opted for cleaning up his, Cooper's mugs, and the mess in thr kitchen while he waited for Cooper's return.

It took Cooper a few minutes before he returned with a couple rolled up maps, and an atlas of the surrounding area.

"Didn't know which one ta grab so I got all of tha one I 'ave fer the area." Cooper said.

He looked up from the maps in his arms and looked around the kitchen.

"Uh, you didn't have ta do that ya know, I woulda cleaned up after ya left."

By the time Cooper returned, his kitchen was spotless. Apparently in his down time, he vigorously cleaned anything he could get his claws on. He lowered the duster in his claw and took off the black, yellow, and red flame-print apron he momentarily equipped while his host was away.

"Oh it was no trouble at all. You provided the refreshments so cleaning everything seemed like the sensible thing to do while you were off gathering the intel."

As Boss shoved the apron back into the neck of his armor for storage, he glanced warily at the parchment dripping from Cooper's arms.

"That's a lot of maps. How big is this area exactly?"

"O-kay. Anyway, uh yeah the area for the city is pretty large but this is a few different types of maps. One of the city, one of the surrounding area of the brothel an' one of the brothel itself. Also this one here is of the underground sewer system, if we needed it.*

He placed all of the maps on the table and rolled one out, it was the one of the whole city.

"Verdy tended to do alotta plannin' for missions and shit in her down time and need a place to stash her maps n shit while she's off on jobs, so I keep a hold of them for her. That's why there are so many different types of maps 'ere."

Once again, you take "A Look into the Dark"

Another blow to his chest sent Cooper flying backwards into the wall. The monster in front of him laughing at his pitiful attempt at staying on his feet.

"HA HA HA! Keep that up and you'll be dust before you know it! Lakdnbflw was never this weak this far into training."

Cooper struggled to his feet, staggering at the weight of the battle axe in his hands, the feeling still foreign to him. "I ain't weak.."

The taller monster looked down at him.

"What did you say?"

"I said, I ain't WEAK!" Cooper let out a cry of rage and brought down the axe, smashing it into the floor. The ground shook, and the shock wave from the impact threw the larger monster across the room. Cracking his head on the opposite wall. The monster fell to the ground, and dusted.

Cooper screamed and dropped the axe, scrambling away from the now pile of dust. Covering his face and curling up in pain. The LV coursing through him like lighting, the tell tale sign of a first kill...

A shadowy figure donning a trident watched intently from a distance.

A Look into the Dark

Send “A Look into the Dark” to see one of My Muse’s Nightmares...

It's Pitch black in Cooper's Bedroom, and the large skeleton tosses and turns under the covers. You take 'A Look into the Dark'

Cooper was smaller, skinnier, and running for his life. Behind him, a large wolf monster was chasing him, hellbent on killing the smaller monster.

Behind the monster chasing him lay a small dusted carcass, slowly fading. It was barely recognizable, but Cooper knew exactly who it was. She was smaller than him by a few inches and had tried to fight off the crazed wolf. Unluckily biting off more than she could chew. Cooper ran and ran tears streaming down his face. But he refused to look back. Refused to see the last remnants of his sister. His feet left solid ground, and he turned. watching as the wolf howled at him as he fell.

Cooper woke up in a cold sweat, breathing heavily, and sat up. Tear marks ran down his face and he buried his face in his hands.

Boss arched a brow. What kind of leverage did Cooper have over this band of miscreants that would merit ill-will towards his client? An involuntary frown formed when a certain mobster infiltrated his thoughts. Hopefully Cooper wasn't mixed up with any gangsters. The debt they accrued from monsters never ended if they could help it. Boss didn't push for details though and stopped his mind from jumping to conclusions. If his host wanted to elaborate, he would.

"Well, while I can understand not wanting to indebt yourself to someone you wouldn't want to, if its unusual for Verdy to be gone for almost a month with no contact, you may need to do something to check on her. You mentionedyou were limitedin where you could go during our last chat. If worse comes to worse, what does security look like around here and what's the penalty for leaving?"

He filled up his electric kettle and switched it on, as it was heating he got the jar of pasta sauce from the cupboard and twisted it open. After being friends with Boss, Red and the other Sanses, Cooper has stopped questioning the fact that they drink sauces.

He poured out the sauce into the glass, added a straw and placed it on the table infront of Boss.

"His tyrant-ness usually keeps a close eye on all 'is boarders so getting in and out undetected is a huge ordeal. If I were ta get caught it'd either mean I would be put into service under 'is rule again, or..." He trailed a thumb over his neck.

He put a couple spoons of instant coffee into his mug as he waited for the water to boil.

A phantom pain surfaced on his neck vertebrae and a cold chill ran down his spine at the idea of being beheading.

"...Right."

Boss held the glass up and sipped at the sauce as he deliberated over Cooper's predicament.

"Is a shortcut out of the question too?"

While some skeletons teleport, he didn't know if Cooper had that ability or not.

"Yeah, I can't do magic so I've never really been able to figure out if I could or not."

He sipped at his coffee.

"I've never been strong on the uh, magic front to begin with."

He didn't want to admit it but it really irked him that he was unable to do much magic at all. Maybe a single small bone but that's it.

"I'm beginning to think that bribe is the best way to go."

"I saw how you demolished that wall in the garage so what magical abilities you might lack for now, I'm sure you make up with physical strength..."

Boss set down the cup as the frown from earlier resurfaced. While he didn't know enough details about what the bribe entailed, Boss understood well enough what havoc being involuntary indebted to an enemy for protecting a loved one was like and he wasn't going to let that happen to Cooper.

"There is a third option, you know... I'm not the best at this yet and it comes with its own risks, but if you need to leave the city to look for her I might have a way for you to do so. I can use the same technique used to get to this world to transport you outside the city's parameters. Of course, this is also dependent on if you know where she might be but if you're willing to devise a feasible plan that won't result in getting captured. If you do though, I'd be willing to help as a late thank you and return present for the gyftmas cutlery."

Cooper mulled over the option Boss put forward, on one hand it'd be good to go and look for her himself, but he doesn't want to involve Boss too much in his world's affairs. But It's beginning to look like he didn't have a lot of choice.

"I do have an idea where she was th' last time we spoke. an' it was just outside a uh.. brothel in New New Home. which is like a 6 hour car ride not includin' stops from here."

He has a car, so maybe if they could drive to the border, and park the car in some where that could be a good getaway. A plan started forming in his head.

"I 'ave the start of an idea."

Boss idled for a moment, questioning if he should take Cooper up on the offer.

"Depends. If you have something in the marinara or tea department beverage-wise , I'll partake. If not though, no need to trouble yourself on my account. I did barge in on you unannounced, after all."

“She works as both a scout and an info broker, she works a lot from behind the scenes.” Cooper admitted to himself that it was preferable that way, as she wouldn’t be in immediate danger unlike his previous job.

“I got plen’y of types o’ tea, and a jar of passata if that’s what ya mean? I’m happy to have ya, you ain’t intrudin’ at all.” Cooper flashes a grin.

"Yes, the pasta sauce with a straw, please. I can wait though if you are in the middle of a project." He eyed the remnants of the seat Cooper was working on. He always liked the concept of cars and vaguely hoped he might be able to help with it but felt it rude to interrupt someone else's craft.

"Also, given what the guard has in the way of positions, there are worse jobs to have. I know you can't exactly go search for her yourself given your circumstances but is there anyone else you can contact to verify her whereabouts?"

"Sure, you can have that." He motions for Boss to follow him inside, "I think I needed a break, I've been workin' on it all day."

He opens the door into the house and walks through into a small, quaint-looking kitchen. A round table with two chair tucked under it was on one side, and the other had a long counter the length of the wall, with a stove, a fridge and washing machine. All in all it looked cosy.

"I do 'ave a couple contacts I could try to see what's up, but I tend not ta use 'em cuz they are the... most trustworthy of monsters."

"Probably for the best given this most recent incident then."

Boss glanced over at the offending knife on Cooper's workbench as he followed his host out of the garage and into the house. Before they entered, he habitually wiped his feet. While he tended to be rude about somethings, cleanliness was one of the few things he was generally polite about.

"You must think fondly of them judging by your tone," Boss joked flatly. "Do you have to bribe them to get information?"

He glanced around the kitchen as he approached the table and chairs. The place was comfortable if not a little bland. He had to remind himself though that it wasn't his space to decorate as he took a seat (no matter how much the temptation to suggest black, red, and yellow flames as a color scheme intruded his thoughts).

"Yeah, no. They are the kinds of people that'll one backstab ya if they see a way of gettin' anythin' more fer themselves, and two will generally rip ya off just fer info."

He sighed as he spoke, he really didn't want to be indebted to them if he could help it. Stars knows he doesn't want to be in that situation again.

He walked over to one of the cupboards to get out a mug and a glass, to start preparing their drinks.

"Mind you I may have a bribe that'd help me win them over fer a time though, but I'd get inta trouble with a client of mine if I did."

How long is your tail?!

Hmm, my normal height is 7ft and my tail makes me longer than that heh.

So measurin' just my tail, around 5ft? In total about 8ft long. At least I think so.
