Well, he had just sealed his fate. Maybe even a bit excited as he reads the text over and over again. Sure, people had dreams about being swept into the life of a celebrity unexpectedly and it being a glamorous affair, but this was also a celebrity he wasnât exactly a fan of. If anything he had dreamt this happening with Taylor Launter or even Orlando Bloom, but Cooper Anderson?Â
[text]: I wonât bore you with what college I applied to, let alone what dance classes I took as a child. Maybe youâll hear that story in a few years.
[text]: Iâll send over an address only if you promise that you arenât going to be the one driving since itâs obvious you like causing head injuries. (;
Snorting to himself, he sends over the address and gets up to get ready himself. A nice tailored suit, pressed dress shirt, without a tie just in case this party wasnât as elite as it may have sounded through text. But heâd keep one in his inner pocket just in case. One could never be too prepared or underprepared for these kinds of situations.Â
His facial routine and styling of the hair was what really took him the longest. Not usually, but in this case since he was meeting famous people, he had to look the part. As if he belonged, not like some dressed down hobo who didnât know how to use any type of hair product.Â
âOooo, snazzy. Do you have a date for tonight?â Rachel asks, peeking into his half of the apartment and he can only roll his eyes at her, fixing his jacket collar. If she only knew. Poor girl.
âSomething like that,â he teases back as he walks past her, âdonât wait up.â
[text]: Iâll be waiting just downstairs, so tell me when you get here so I can come right out and avoid my roommateâs snooping.
[text:] A few years?? Youâre keepinâ me around that long? Iâm flattered ;)
[text:] I got us a car. We can sit in the backseat and mingle while a professional driver takes us where we need to go.
As Cooper got into his car, he pulled his phone out of his pocket, laughing at Kurtâs text. He was a bit eager to meet this mysterious roommate of Kurtâs, now that he had spoken so much about her. Maybe next time. He told himself, as he gave the driver the address Kurt had given him.
When they showed up at Kurtâs building, Cooper got out of the car, pulling on a pair of sunglasses despite how late it was. He just didnât want to risk being seen and starting a commotion. He made his way inside, finding Kurt fairly quickly. âWow, look at you.â He said, walking over to Kurt. âYou look nice.â He said, âNow youâve totally outdone me and my outfit. Tsk. Weâre going to hear about this on the news tomorrow, you know. âCooper Anderson brings super fashionable date to New York party. He is dressed in literally the same outfit weâve seen him in a thousand times. Who is this nicely dressed stranger? Tonight at seven.â And all that.âÂ
Sighing dramatically, Cooper held out his hand, smiling at Kurt. âShall we?â He asked, nodding toward the car. He held the door open for Kurt, getting into the car behind him. Once inside, Cooper took off his sunglasses, pocketing them yet again. âSorry about that.â he said, leaning forward to tell the driver the new address. âI hate having to do that.â
