If you are a socially anxious person, you have to socialize. Your panic/anxiety attacks will only get worse and trigger more frequently if you constantly avoid contact with The Public. Not saying that you need to be a social butterfly- but there is a genuine problem with not being able to order your own meal at a restaurant. And it cannot be solved by always having someone else do it for you.

#no ;-; #Sakumo leaving his baby at home to go on these missions where there's constantly children dead or dying #he comes home heart in his throat to find his boy safe and sound and he thinks I won't let this happen to you whether I'm dead of alive #two year old Kakashi already knows where to run and how best to hide for cover #three year old Kakashi already can fend off an adult when directly attacked to buy time for a getaway #four year old Kakashi can fully maintain the house and himself like Sakumo was living with an adult roommate and not his baby boy #five year old Kakashi brings home his Academy graduation diploma and Sakumo is so proud! that's his boy his smart hardworking son #then he comes back from The Mission and his little boy has gone on a mission of his own. in war time. already a chuunin #he thinks about Kakashi's squad leader having the same dilemma as he himself just did. and choosing the mission #thinks about his son witnessing and CAUSING all of the death and gore he himself witnesses and causes as well #and it hits him that boy is six years old. six y/o kids get tucked in at 9pm and play in sandboxes and their biggest problem is lost crayons #so he tries to hug his little boy but there's only a soldier in his house #all he wanted was to teach his son to protect himself but accidentally created a weapon for the village to use #but that's what he does isn't it? puts people in harm's way by trying to save their lives. what else might he do to his own son if he stays?
