sometimes u love characters in very different ways. i love harry potter so it is very fun for me to put him in stressful situations. i love hermione granger so i think nothing bad should ever happen to her ever. does this make sense

i dont necessarily think that tomarry would be bad parents but i do think fics make them a lot more knowledgable than they should be. orphan raised in 1930s consistently threatened with the asylum x orphan put through significant child abuse and neglect? their parenting methods are 100% just "we should probably do the opposite of what our caregivers did" and it works out
