BIOGRAPHY:

She was as mistake, her parents didn’t want another child as they already had the one, that was all they needed and so far, he had been good enough. Still, they figured it didn’t hurt to have another one… just in case something went wrong. But then they discovered they had a girl. Mrs. Rosier was disappointed but after a few days she was convinced that having a girl did have benefits, Mr. Rosier never thought he’d be happy with a daughter, but he was charmed by the tiny baby.

Growing up, her mother was very cold towards her and the standards she had towards Alexia were extremely high. Not much different to what most of her peers experienced from their parents. Her father, although he did have a soft spot for her wasn’t around all that much, and though not quite as vocal as her mother, he also had very high expectations for her even if he wasn’t as strict and cold, to her, at least. To make up for not being around he would just shower her in gifts. And so, she would just follow her brother around, there was nothing her brother couldn’t do in her eyes, that admiration hasn’t really gone anywhere after all these years.

Filling the role that her family gave her was actually very easy –even if in her mother’s eyes there was always something Alexia needed to improve- and she enjoyed it well enough. By the time it was time to go to Hogwarts she had her 2 main ideals: 1- Blood Purity 2- Family was the most important thing, and she should never do anything that embarrasses them or puts the family at risk.

Her time at Hogwarts was fun, she had perfect grades –as it had been expected- it was nice to have more freedom than what she had at home. Many of course made their assumptions about her based on their thoughts regarding her brother but anyone that didn’t like her brother wasn’t someone she cared much about anyway.

But it was also at Hogwarts that she discovered that people seemed to underestimate her, maybe it was because she was never outwardly hostile towards anyone, or because they thought she was just Evan’s youngest sister, a spoiled, sheltered “princess” and well those things were true but that didn’t mean there was nothing more to her. It annoyed her at first, but then she went along with it, people trusted her more if they thought she was harmless, and true she would never hurt someone physically herself, there are other things that can be done. That said maybe they did have a bit of a point because she wasn’t cruel, sometimes even felt bad for those that were targeted, and though her beliefs about blood purity are strong she doesn’t hate those that aren’t pure, she doesn’t like them and she does think she’s above them, but hate is a very strong word.

Graduation came and she knew an arranged marriage was the next step in her life, there was not a moment she could stop and think what she really wanted to do next, things weren’t like that for her, she had known it since she was young, deep down she wished she was marrying for love, but she had always known that wasn’t a possibility and the only reason why she isn’t married now is because the war has complicated things.

The war, even if she agrees with what Voldemort and the Death Eaters stand for, she sees all the destruction and death and she question things, just to quickly remind herself that is what it must be done. Yet there is also the fact that more and more people she cares about joining. The ranks and that is what affects her more, she worries about them.

Jason stood at the countertop at the back of the bakery, a tray of cookies laid out before him, holding an icing bag carefully in his hands and swirling beautiful little frosted flowers onto the top of each one. He was focused, blue eyes fixed on what he was doing, and didn’t see the silhouette approaching the front door of the bakery.

The small tinkling of the bell was unexpected and the sound jolted him with fear, causing the small man to physically jump where he stood, his heart pounding for a moment afterward as he looked down at the mess in his hands. His grip on the icing had tightened with the scare and he’d squeezed nearly half of it out onto one cookie in a big messy pile.

His head fell forward, Jason’s eyes wide as he took a moment to breathe and calm himself, hoping that despite the kitchen being visually open to the rest of the shop, the customer might not have seen it happen. It didn’t help that he had a couple of little bow clips in his hair holding it out of his face at the moment, making his fright only easier to glimpse.

When his head snapped up again, though his face was pink he was smiling widely and he cast his eyes towards the counter to see who was there.

“H-Hullo, lovely!” He spoke as he wiped his hands off on his apron. “C-Can I help you f-f-find something s-sweet?”

Alexia always liked sweets and cakes much to the dismay of her mother who growing up had to constantly tell her not to indulge on them too much, although to her mother too much was more than one a month...okay she may be exaggerating but it really felt like that sometimes. But anyway, she felt like getting something today, and maybe get something for the little tea party she was supposed to attend tomorrow.

“Hello” she said returning the greeting, not really noticing the little anxious jump, too busy looking around. “That would be lovely thank you.” she said looking at him properly and getting closer, with a polite smile “I think I may want some cookies and maybe some little cakes for a thing tomorrow.”

A quidditch match wasn’t exactly the best setting for Mary to be in, the crowds were too packed and rowdy, the loud atmosphere and constant yelling and screaming from others was too much, but all the same they wanted to contribute to the fundraiser and so they had set up a makeshift kiosk just a little further from the stadium than the other merchants. She’d found an old push cart in the basement and secured some shelving to it on which to display different paintings, a few framed sketches, and signs hung every here or there with big letters warning that the contents of her wares would be gory and horrifying. They sat on a stool immediately beside it with a sketchbook perched on their lap, charcoal in their hands, working on some more candid sketches for anyone who might be interested in a smaller purchase. She was lost in her work, paying no attention for any customers, but when she felt the sudden presence of someone sidling up beside her she muttered without glancing away from her work, “you’re blocking my light.” Their shadow had cast over her drawing, making it harder for her to see her original guide lines.

“What are you drawing?” she asked ignoring the comment about the light, she had been intrigued by the sign and though the art wasn’t exactly something she would get it was still interesting enough, especially since it wasn’t the type of things she expected to see at a quidditch match.

It was still low on his list of places he’d like to be at the moment, however, and he wondered idly why he couldn’t have simply stayed in the castle. But then again, he supposed being here was a toss up with dealing with an angry Ivy. Or very nearly, at least. With a sigh, he thrust his hands into his pockets and kicked a stray decoration down the street, glaring at a rather rowdy group of passerby. He retrieved a pack of cigarettes, stopping to light one up and hopping up to sit on some empty crates next to the door of a somewhat less crowded building when he spotted another lone figure. “Are you lost or drunk?” He called, marveling at the length his boredom would push him to. “Or both?"

She stopped at a food cart, barely managing to get her order out before a man all but fell into her, apparently trying to hit on her, but she could barely decipher a word of it and after an icy “No thanks.” and her best glare, he’d tottered off. She turned, rolling her eyes as she took her place waiting for her food. “Honestly.” She started, a little rumpled as she glanced at the person next to her and straightened the collar of her shirt. “Am I the only person who doesn’t find public intoxication charming?"

“Not at all” she said with a sigh, she had been watching drunk people stumble over themselves for a little while now as she ate something and she just found it so embarrassing. “I don’t understand why they find drinking in excess is fun at all actually...especially at a public setting like this.” She had been more open while at Hogwarts, the whole getting drunk at house parties was understandable at least, it was a rebellious thing, doing something you shouldn’t and a little of peer pressure though she had never been more than a little buzzed. But here? people much older than her still finding that getting drunk was peak fun? no.

Despite having no regrets at having left the Rosier’s, Alice did miss her cousins. They might not have agreed on anything at all, but they’d been the people that she had grown up with. Cousins had a special bond, and she missed it. Of course, she had no regrets about her decision. She know she’d made the right one, even if she had left her cousins behind. But she just hadn’t been able to live the way her parents had wanted her too. It didn’t mean it was not hard though, and a lot of people didn’t realise that. Alice had been lucky that she’d had Frank, otherwise she really didn’t know how she’d have survived. The Longbottoms had welcomed her in, and she would be forever grateful.

“I’m good….” She murmured with a smile. She was good. She tried to be positive as much as possible. But she was good. “How about you? It’s been so long….”

“I’m very glad to hear that” she said truthfully, even if circumstances were complicated she still held affection to her cousin, even if they hadn’t been particularly close growing up, it was the same with Siius or Andy, though with them it was slightly more complicated. “I’ve been well too....I was just getting something for Draco..”

Sirius couldn’t help the chuckle that fell from him, and he relaxed slightly. He still wasn’t all that sure what to think when it came to Alexia - she hadn’t done anything wrong, per se, but he was suspicious. Still, sometimes, he had to admit he missed her friendship. “You should be so lucky - we’re an exceptionally good looking group.” He teased, although even to his own ears it didn’t sound as comfortable and light hearted as it should. Still, he tried not to let that get to him. Sirius thought about explaining the whole hood confusion, but decided to let it slide past them as he handed her the drink. “Oh, don’t you start, too.” He huffed, rolling his eyes - the usual Sirius coming out a bit more in his annoyance. “The mini ones do not taste as good as the regular ones and I stand by that.”

“I guess some agree with you on that, I do remember there were many back at Hogwarts that seemed to be very interested in you all.” If she thought about it she supposed his friends were actually good looking, although she never payed them that much attention. “Well you’d be wrong, the small ones not only are softer and taste better you can actually have more of them2 she said with a faint chuckle. “Evan also likes the big ones more...maybe is a older brother thing.”

Sybill could see the disappointment on the witch’s face, and her heart sank. This wasn’t a party trick; she couldn’t magically find whatever people wanted. She could only work with what the universe was willing to show her. Sybill had always found that level frustrating in the middle.

She hesitated. “That’s the basics of what I’m seeing,” she admitted. “Is there something more you’d like me to look for in particular? Sometimes a guide allows me to focus on the small details that seem insignificant otherwise.”

“Well the basics were good enough” in all honesty she wouldn’t like it if the other woman had started to say much deeper things, sure it would have been interesting and maybe change how she view divination but still being told more personal things, and in the middle of the street wasn’t something she truly wanted. “Hmm, well how about ...decisions my parents are making in regards to me..”

The streets outside The Three Broomsticks were alarmingly overrun due to the sales for that stupid event and, while Peter did enjoy a good bargain, it was all becoming a bit too much for him. He didn’t trust large crowds of people. They contained too many opportunities for him to run into people from both sides of his double life and the last thing he ever wanted was for those two worlds to collide. Seeing his school friends get up in the faces of his Death Eater… associates set his teeth on edge. It was just so much easier to push his way to the back of a bar and wait out the crowds before trying to do any shopping, but his hopes of remaining unseen were quickly dashed when a girl asked him to confirm his name right as they were both moving to take the empty table.

“Um… yeah. I’m Peter?” His brow furrowed as he looked at her, trying to place why she was so recognisable. Obviously they had went to Hogwarts at the same time, but she wasn’t ringing any bells as someone who actively spent time with him or his friends. Oh wait, she was related to Sirius in some way, right? It came back to him quickly once he had made that association and he swiftly remembered that one night in school when he was having a meltdown in the library and that one nice Slytherin girl helped him to study. “Alexia, yeah?” Peter’s eyes drifted back to the table and, even though he internally sighed at not getting to be alone, he gestured to the two chairs. “You want to share?”

“Yes, it’s been a while..” she said with a polite smile, she was a little relieved to have remembered his name, she knew Sirius and his friends were popular and infamous during their Hogwarts times, but she always had other more important things that fully pay attention to them, other than to think Sirius really appear to care about them and that was curious. But she also did remember one time at the library she had helped Peter for a bit, it had been an interesting interaction, she supposed. “I much rather share than continue standing up for who knows how long so, sure.” she said sitting down, although honestly had she didn’t feel like sharing she wouldn’t be the one waiting around standing up.

“It’s certainly worth a talking point,” Remus agreed. He stepped closer, taking a careful sniff of the air. “Interesting smell. Is that… I don’t know how to describe it. It’s not spicy exactly. It’s almost like the smell is fizzy too. Can a smell be fizzy?” He laughed and rubbed the back of his neck. “I don’t know enough potions theory to truly know the thought process on some of that, but it definitely looks like the planners today had a ton of fun.”

“I... actually think you can. In an odd way at least” she said with a small shrug, she couldn’t quite describe it but she could say she knew what he meant so, yes in a way it was possible. “Well, I suppose they also must have to find ways to have fun in this..At the very least we can know is not poison or anything too life alterning.”

It was a rare day off for Alice. There had been one time where she’d work overtime on her days off, just loving her job so much. But she was not doing that so much anymore. It was a welcome break really, despite it being for not so nice reasons. Alice liked to be home more so she could support Frank. Today though she needed to go grab some things from Diagon Alley. The last thing they needed was for Nana to come round again and moan that they had nothing in the cupboard.

Hence she was currently walking down the Alley, list clutched in her hand. She was hoping to not to be too long. Although she did intend on getting some sweet treats for them. Although, someone was stood in front of the sweet shop so that might not work. “Excuse me… oh….” Just as she spoke Alice realised who it was, and she sighed. “Alexia. Hi.” She couldn’t remember the last time she’d had a proper conversation with her cousin, and she wasn’t sure if she really wanted too.

Alexia was meeting Narcissa later today and so she figured that she should stop by Diagon Alley and get a few things, maybe some sweets for Draco, not to many of course but still a few things. Thankfully it wasn’t as crowded as it had been the other day, honestly had it been she would have left this time around. maybe just send one of her house elves instead. That said the shop was actually full and there was a line, she sighed, she was questioning if she should stay at all. “hmm...oh hello Alice.” she said when she saw who was talking to her., she couldn’t really remember when was the last time she talked to her cousin. “How are you?”
