Turf Dampened in Crimson @Coralia
It hadnât been lost on Talon that all Coralia would need to do would be to retrieve his sword from him to gain an upper hand. The tribute however was going to make darn sure that that didnât happen though, for he refused to lose his advantage in this heavily weighed battle. It didnât mean he would lose if he didnât have his swordâŠit just wasnât nearly as easy of a victory as it was with the weapon in his possession. âWell thank goodness for that, I was getting worried,â Talon parroted back as Coralia breathlessly exclaimed her âpassionâ for him. Coralia was strong for a contender in these games â not that he would expect anything less from a career district such as four â but he was pleased with the ensuing battle. It made everything all that much more interesting. It added a spice to the games that hadnât occurred since his hand to hand combat with Topaz. Unfortunately for one of them Talon wasnât willing to wager any more deals. He was risking it enough having chosen to join forces with Topaz at all, he wasnât going to risk it yet again just to have Coralia slip a dagger in his turned back. The slightest of a smirk came upon Talonâs expression at the recognition that she wasnât pleased with his commentary about Reid, though she refused to give him the pleasure of shooting anything back at him. That was unfortunate; heâd been rather enjoying their âpleasantâ conversation. âOh sweetie, you know I donât play by the rules,â Talon answered swiftly, side stepping Coraliaâs advance towards his weapon bearing arm before shifting forward slyly, his motions freezing his opponent in place. She was clearly unsure of his motives as he approached, though he could tell she was calculating each move with what her response could be. Her decision was perhaps just a moment too late to make an adequate response to his attack though. As she stepped forward to make another attempt at snatching his weapon he moved forward as well, grasping onto the front of her jacket and driving the tip of the sword straight through her abdomen. Now it would only be a matter of moments before Coralia was dead in the grass, her own bodily excretions mingling with those of her fallen district partner. Ooohhhh, how romantic. He rolled his eyes the slightest bit as her fingers grasp onto his shoulders, holding herself upright with the aid of his stature. He gave her her wish for the time being, almost enjoying the look of the polished blade buried within her flesh. âLooks like I can have it both ways,â Talon whispered to her smoothly, gripping roughly onto the front of her jacket to keep her upright as her grip loosened on his shoulders. With a smile he closed his lips on herâs once more, simply for the entertainment of her. âTell Reid I say hello,â He murmured, his grip on her loosening, âSweet dreams, four.â
Coralia's normally over reactive senses were groggy, the sunlight in the arena had now became too bright for her to see everything clearly. She heard Talons smooth whisper which sent a chill up her spine. Now her younger brothers were going to watch her die on television, her parents were more than likely in shock at the show the two tributes from four and two had just put on for them. She wanted to tell them not to watch as she was sure the cameras were now focused on her dying moments, but forming words was a task that painful for her. "My brother's name is Tallon." She murmured in a whisper, not having recognized the resemblance before. What was the name of her other brother? She couldn't remember, but she was sure that would have sparked their entire families interests, enough for her last command to be heard by them. "Don't watch."
The brunette grimaced as the tribute from two roughly grabbed the front of her jacket, but she allowed him to press his lips to her. Either way; it was impossible for her to put up a decent fight with him now. The brunette moved sideways slightly in attempt to avoid the male but ended up on the ground with a huff, clutching her stomach and rolling onto her side as bursts of pain shot through her body. The crimson substance that surrounded her was no longer made of Reid blood, but hers. She knew her family would have listened to her command,  without their gazes on the screen now all she had to do was die to get away from the games for once in her life. Eventually Coralia's thoughts slowed and her vision completely darkened; the once bright arena faded into black.Â
