"Why not open up to ur partners?"

Because the last time I did that I lost my best friend. Now they didn't leave because of me opening up but it's not helpful knowing that just a few months ago me and said friend would do everything together. As much as I love my partners, I do feel safe opening up cuz I don't want them to thing I'm disgusting or terrible person cuz I don't want them to leave. I also just don't want to bring up how bad of a person I am cuz the might to say "no, your not like that!" When I know i am, and I'm trying to better myself but it's really hard when in a deep depression that won't leave you alone. Sure I'll open up about minor but other than that it's not happening for a good while.
