"I-I really didn't do anything--" she began to protest, but was cut off by another loud crack of thunder as the rain began to come down on them in heavy waves.
The boy grabbed her by the wrist, leading her through the muddy terrain toward the edge of the cliffside as the water began to soak through her clothes and, what felt like, down to her very bones. Her eyes scanned the cliffs, wondering if they would be able to find some sturdy footing and climb up in the rain. "There!" she shouted over the roaring of the wind. "I think there might be a cave up there we can wait it out in!" Her finger pointed midway up the mountain where a black inlet could be seen.
But how would get up there?
Right, right. Think, think...
Ryu was quick, he reached around Rui's hip, and pressed the Pokeball her borrowed Cyclizar was in before releasing his own and grabbing onto it. "Climb, hurry! Go, go, go!" The blonde shouted over the howling wind and loud thunder that rumbled in the dark clouds. His Cyclizar let out a eager yelp as it's claws dug into the craggy cliff side, scampering it's way up as fast as it could with the student on it's back. All while staying in arms reach the whole way up, just in case his partner's slipped and fell!
