not too long ago they implemented an update where it would notify someone every single time you looked at their profile, and vice versa, and it was literally as terrifying as it sounds. every time you clicked on someone, even if on accident, it would send a notification to them saying exactly who you were and what time you were on their profile

and it sucked so fucking bad that it only stayed for like maybe one week before it was taken out of the app and never acknowledged again. like i feel like this single feature was worse than all of tumblrs shitty loading gradients and stupid error messages combined
