Yes. If only to preserve the sanctity of the cob. One day, I will die, and so will each of us, but corn will live on. Corn has existed for centuries before I was thought of and will exist for centuries after. I will do all I can to preserve this legacy, and self-sacrifice is the smallest way I can do my part

I know there are a lotta pics in this post, but LOOK. Look. At. This. CORN. It looks kind of crap because heat stress makes corn sad, but IT’S PURPLE. And pastel and rainbow. I’m so glad I was able to get some real color consistency in these considering how few stalks I grew. I saved my favorite purple kernels to use next year since I think I can get a more even purple with less blue in the mix. That pastel corn is soooooo fucking pretty, though. Glass Gem corn is some amazing shit, y’all. If you have the space to grow corn, grow this corn. It’s not really for eating (unless you like popcorn), but damn is it cool to see what colors you get.
