Thoughts from the cob
Butter me up and salt me good
Proud cobs. Proud to be a cob, proud to attend Toronto Pride, proud to be luscious and scrumptious. Proud to glisten in the sun. Proud to be delectable. Proud to be loved by all people’s, as one of nature’s true delicacies.
What are the health benefits of consuming corn?
there are many.
1. yummy = healthy
2. vegetable
3. yellow=healthy. ex. yellow fruits
4. comes in a green husk and green=healthy. ex. vegetables (see #2)
5. bread=healthy. cornbread =healthy + corn. therefore cornbread=healthy
6. no msg
7. you can put butter on it (it doesn’t start with butter on it so that means it is healthier than butter)
8. #7 but with salt
9. grows in a field.
10. it is healthy. the end.
My friend once said they had corn in their butthole
stop being friends with them
Two succulent cobs, ready to be devoured, adding sweetness and satisfaction to a hot summers day
If an evil villain said he would destroy corn so that no one could ever eat it again unless you sacrificed yourself, would you?
Yes. If only to preserve the sanctity of the cob. One day, I will die, and so will each of us, but corn will live on. Corn has existed for centuries before I was thought of and will exist for centuries after. I will do all I can to preserve this legacy, and self-sacrifice is the smallest way I can do my part
What are those before and after corn photos on your desktop?
The 2011 Corn Roast. A historic celebration, now forgotten, of beautiful cobs given the respect and adoration they deserve. This shirt, cast to the wayside of Value Village aisles, but luckily found so that all can relive the glory of the 2011 Corn Roast.
Do you think you'll give your future child a name that has to do with corn?
I would consider it - the name Corn was the 9799th most popular boy’s name in 2017 and the 15443rd most popular girl’s name in 2017. This name should be moving up the ranks, as a beautiful name that encompasses a wholesome purity found nowhere else, and that doesn’t fit specific gendered expectations - the perfect name for any fresh infant
Can't believe that I just came across this now! Excited to join the corn fam! :)
excited to have you hear! the brethren is open to all, the cob welcomes you with open arms
Going to the roots of the cob and really connecting with what brings this cob to life and how it truly came to be. Connecting with the land that births the cobs and brings forth those decadent kernels for our digestion is an eye-opening experience
A local grocer arouses interest in the decadent multicoloured kernels just in time for the harvest season. Give thanks for the cob, for its succulent gifts. Give thanks for the kernel, those marvels bits. Give thanks for the husk, and the joy that’s inside. Give thanks for the stalk, from which all corn arrives.
An abundance of cobs, ripe for the taking. This blessed quantity of the fruit of the earth is overwhelming. As you run your hand through the dense forest of cobs you can only realize the beautiful potential of each individual cob and the satisfying sensation, the pure joy, when one enters your open mouth orifice .
These cobs, only 50 cents each, are beautiful and ready for all who choose to experience a flavour wonder
butter up those dirty cobs
Some scrumptious kernels, ready to be served into the watering mouths of all who desire these soft yellow bites of glory inside of them
pure, unadulterated, and beautiful cobs, half shucked
The prompt for my art class was “cornography” so I made a vine.
A young gentleman discovers the joys of cornography and the satisfaction this vegetable can bring.
