Australia is too amazing to give up on

So I graduated. I had my graduation ceremony in March. It was just like the events you all have seen in the movies, a bunch of people dressed in funny-looking robes and hats. Something I would never ever experience in Norway. It was pretty cool, but also a bit boring. The ceremony lasted forever with countless speeches and extremely formal language.

I also forgot to tell you that I both started, tried for a few weeks and quit my master degree of Social Science. That was some of the most overwhelming experience I have ever had. It made me doubt my own intellectuality. But it turend out that it was just the wrong path for me to take.

More have happened the last six months that I ever had thought was possible in such a short time. Involving everything from psychopathic landlords to wrong educational choices to ending up being an illegal immigrant.

Yep, I was actually an illegal immigrant for a couple of weeks. Not by choice, but I was. It all sorted itself out when I got my tuition money back and could afford to leave the country for Bali for a week. I am now back in Australia legally with a working holiday visa. I just have to figure out what to do with that visa.

The last three days have been the most relaxing. I can breathe again. I feel like am at the edge of something great. After all the bumps in the road this first half year of 2015, there can’t be much that can be able to stop me.

I will keep my head up high, ready for my life’s next challenge, and take it just as that. A challenge. It spices it up.

Last time I wrote I was a bit depressive and stuff. I just wanted to let you know that I survived my crazy exam period. Can't officially celebrate my bachelor degree yet, since I wont get my results back until December 9th. But I am 99,9% sure I haven't failed any of my classes, so I'm celebrating every day anyways.

Since last time there has been a few changes. I moved out from what used to be my lovely home in Henrietta Street to live for a short period with my friend Angie in her apartment. All of this to save money, or spend as little as possible. #brokegirl!

For the past three weeks I have been sleeping on a $15 air mattress in Angie's living room without Internet and without a fridge. Cockroaches and maggots were crawling around everywhere and I had to live out of a bag with the rest of my stuff laying in Henrietta St and in my car. Living with Angie is awesome, but living like this is not too cool.

So yesterday I finally moved into my new share house in Annandale. I slept on a bed in my own room WITH air condition last night. I feel like I slept in heaven. I've also got Internet again, and I really want to start writing and updating this blog regularly.

Sandra has also left me. At the moment she's driving around on New Zealand scaring all the kiwis for two weeks. She has desided to move back to Townsville after the holidays, though. Yay! There will be more madness and shenanigans from us.

I'm just waiting and looking forward to mid December when my family is coming to visit me. This Christmas is going to be AWESOME! I will finally celebrate Christmas outside bbq-ing and swimming in the pool. For new years we're going to Sydney. That's going to be sick as well.
