I am here to represent memes for underappreciated musicals !!!
if you like those, you’ll like this
Legally Blonde the musical lockscreens!
Requested by @futureofbroadway, sorry it took so long!
(Also, for the record, if anyone ever wants a different coloured version of a lock screen I’ve previously posted, message me and I can probably do it straight away)
Did anyone else feel personally attacked by the Be More Chill Off-Broadway survey?
Hear more about the differences between the Off-Broadway and Broadway versions here 😊💄🐾

optimal places to listen to these musicals
otherwise known as: “but theater is meant to be experienced live!!!” is a myth invented by capitalism
Anastasia: a sleepover at your best friend’s home
The Band’s Visit: in a silent house with the lights off and the curtains drawn
Be More Chill: in the safety of your room after an exhausting school day
The Book of Mormon: not in public
Dear Evan Hansen: a long drive home
Falsettos: walking around a city you don’t know well; it feels mundane and surreal at the same time
Hamilton: with friends on a road trip, yelling along and tripping over the words and laughing
The Last Five Years: stuck in an elevator with a stranger
Les Misérables: anywhere with a lot of durable furniture
Little Shop of Horrors: downtown, where the folks are broke
Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812: in an abandoned parking lot at 2 AM with Monster Energy in the cupholder and giant floodlights in the distance. And a hamster running on a wheel in shotgun just for fun.
Newsies: on the treadmill
Next to Normal: riding the subway, absorbing each word like you’re listening to a gripping audiobook, watching the world flicker by
The Phantom of the Opera: the shower, of course, so that you can sing along
Spring Awakening: sitting in an empty playground
Tuck Everlasting: laying in the sun, the scent of grass in the air
Waitress: returning to visit a favorite place from childhood, bracing your heart for the ways it has changed
Curious about the 2018 stage adaptation of Moulin Rouge? In this video I discuss my thoughts and some of the major differences from the movie.
Be More Chill looks amazing
Concept art in the Ambassadors Lounge at Emerson Colonial Theatre
Catherine Zuber’s costume sketches from the Ambassador Lounge at the Emerson Colonial Theatre where Moulin Rouge! is playing through August 19th!
Jeremy Burge of Emojipedia really liked the musical Emojiland, especially the weird and wonderful Lesli Margherita.
evan watches makeup tutorials on instagram and likes the music they play in the background
youtube video: hi guys! it’s me, nikkie, hello
evan, alone in his room: hi nikkie
PLEASE READ BEFORE ADDING YOUR SUGGESTIONS: If you have a musical that you want other people to give a listen to, feel free to place it under one of the following categories or even just create your own category! Add a comment next to your show, too, if you have something you want people to know ...
i created a thing
basically, here is an editable Google doc where any of you can add musical recommendations under respective categories that I’ve written out. You can also add your own topics at the end of the document, if you have any more ideas.
the goal of this is to help other theatre fans find new shows to listen to and to show new members of the theatre fandom just how many amazing musicals there are out there.
be polite to others, but also have fun!
also: feel free to add to this doc even if you’re not following me!
This is very cool!! Rebloging + bookmarking
Natasha: *almost dies*
Pierre: this is so sad Alexa play The Great Comet of 1812
