“How about I leave you two to talk while I get the room ready yeah?” Balan smiled at Shadow then went to the other room next to this to set everything ready for the two spyrites. That, of course, despite how Victor tried to call over Balan to stay here but that was useless.
“H-hey, what do you mean– ….sigh…He’s still obnoxious as I remember him.” Victor sighed, arms crossed against his chest looking where Balan went to. His foot tapped the floor for a moment before he looked back at the greater spyrite.
What should he say? It’s not like he was good at striking conversations to begin with. Curse you Balan … He should have return back home and forget about this. He can train on his own. He says this but he remembered that he nearly destroyed everything around him when he lost control over his powers and almost got Plum and Elle killed …Damn it! He didn’t get this chance to off them himself!
“ … Got any advice on how to control ones’ powers?” he looked him dead in the eyes. If Balan said this shrimp can help then might as well use him. He can’t..have that again. He cannot hurt his family just because he can’t control his stupid powers.
Advice? Teaching?
Honestly, this may be a task that’s far out of the Greater Spyrite’s knowledge. He may have been a Greater Spirit and lived for several millenniums, but never had he ever taught anyone. Much less socialized.
His eyes locked with the younger spyrite and stared in silence. The only movement was his head that cocked to the side. “...?”
It really wasn’t until in these recent years did Shadow have any contact with any other living creature that wasn’t aggressive.
His powers was also just something that came naturally to him. Like how breathing was to humans.
Unsure of what to do, Shadow trotted over to the shelves and pointed to the one above him that contained research notes on the Greater Spyrite themselves. Perhaps Jude’s notes would be a good start.
