OOC;; AU Ideas

I had a dumb idea for a corrupted mermaid Lance au but I gotta write it somewhere despite having zero creativity or anything. Anyway, he gets corrupted when he runs into magic wielding merfolk, the ones they’re all supposed to really stay far from but he ended up getting swept out too far in a strong current. At first he thinks he got away but part of his tail got hit with some kind of magical attack and it turns a small part of his tail black and nothing heals it no matter how hard he tries. The black spot starts moving onto different parts of his tail, covering up bits of blue and he starts changing in personality and moral code as if he’s getting poisoned. Eventually as it starts corrupting him further, black markings start appearing on his skin like intricate ink designs and his eyes start changing colour.

And I lost my train of thought and I’m sure no one cares anyway aaaa

『❄️️』 The clone has one mission at the moment, try to overpower his double and attempt to take down Voltron from the inside. It’s not as easy for him as it might be for others, but he’s got a plan and he’s pretty damn proud of it if he says so himself. He does, say so himself. 

Catching himself off guard was something of pain for him but he was determined and subsequently proud of himself when he managed to step out of the darkness and hit Lance in the head. The clone grabs him by the collar, grinning as his eyes glow yellow directed straight at him, fist raised, pulled back like a trigger before releasing straight into him, in one quick moment.

Standing above him, he watches as Lance opens his eyes and had it been himself he’d certainly be wondering what was going on. A hand moves to grab Lance by the hair, pulling his head back as he smiles at him.

“You know, you’re always such a fucking thorn in my side. But laying on the ground, beaten and helpless, you ain’t lookin’ half bad…” He juts a thumb toward himself. “And I should know. Then again, I think I’m the better looking of us, twin. Or maybe I could be the only one…”

『❄️️』Revenge? Was it revenge? The feeling isn’t something easily placed in his current cracking state of mind but it felt…nice? He doesn’t know, he can’t decide what he’s feeling; sorrow, regret, joy, a twisted sense of irony. His hand clasps tight around the alien’s wrist, chained up to the wall as he points a blaster just under her chin.

“Heeey, pretty lady. Fancy meeting you here, huh? No…no wait, it’s not really a coincidence, is it?” He grins, leaning in slightly. “Looks like I work for the other side now, kinda funny, right? Well, not funny for you.”

He stops smiling.

“I had to do it. Time to pay up, cutie.”
