Pidge and Space Mom Lance: One morning Pidge is going to sneak up on Lance while he's sleeping, jump on him and flail around like a madwoman while yelling "MOM MOM MOM GET UP GET UP GET UP IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP" and Lance will pull the blankets over his head because quiznak Pidge it's too early for this tomfoolery—
Lance rolled over, pulling the blanket over his head, “Pidge, there are no sirens going off, no explosives in the distance. Y’know what that means?” He asks, his eyes remaining shut, “Its time for SLEEP.”

I preface this saying that I reject the fandom headcanon for “”SPACE DAD”” for Shiro, but otherwise--

However, the more he brushed, the softer Keith’s hair became, it was almost like SILK. Which was absolutely not what Lance was expecting.

you know what i really want? unrequited love plots. i want all the heavy breathing when a character is sitting next to the one they love. i want all the paranoia of “oh my god, did they catch me staring? do they know i love them? oh my god, what if they find out?” i want the bitter jealousy of watching the one they love with someone else. i want the drunk confessions of “BUT I LOVE YOU. I HAVE LOVED YOU FOR SO LONG AND YOU ARE SO BLIND YOU CANT SEE IT” followed by complete embarrassment. i want the angst of a completely ruined friendship. i want the questioning of “how didn’t i realize it?” i want the pain of knowing one’s feelings ruined the best thing they ever had. i want the realization of “i was taking you for granted but i want us”. i want the wondering if those are just pity feelings. i want it all.

Don’t get me wrong here. Lance is the ULTIMATE SHIT CHILD. He is an absolute little shit. He makes dumb jokes and pulls pranks and fights with the other children (i.e. Keith) But he makes a pretty good step in Space Mom.
MAN, I love how this is STILL relevant.
