well you CAN like gtfdb you can just say you aren’t in it for the incest and all that. Any sensible person will just accept that fact and move on. Also if you really think its that big of an issue to like it publicly then just don’t mention your enjoyment for it. If people tell you to not like it “cause bad and problematic” or whatever you saying your going to stop after people shame you into not liking it does nothing on the fact you still enjoy it plus i feel like that just would set you up for another callout/ public humiliation ritual if you ever do decide to disregard their opinions you had previously assimilated. And if you really find this unreliable or any other persons opinion on your enjoyment for whatever fiction you like unreliable then just look up articles and studies on fiction vs reality or talk with someone irl at that point instead of trying to assimilate with an internet randos opinions.

I will still make it obvious that I merely like it for the artwork, character designs, and even SOME worldbuilding stuff. However, it's just... you know how the internet can be nowadays sometimes! That won't stop me though with being open about my own interests though.

I trust that my mutuals or people who enjoy my art / posts all together won't immediately assume the worst of me, even if it can tend to be a fear of mine.

How do I enjoy Grim Tales from Down Below if a big and obvious thing with incest and other clear depictions related / similar in creepiness keeps appearing? Like, I do not condone incest nor anything weird in the comic shown, and that’s an obvious take when it comes to me. HOWEVER I’d still like to find a way to enjoy the series..

I just love the series due to it’s artwork, character designs, etc., but there are SEVERAL panels depicting crazy shit. And it’s to the point that I’m unsure if I’m even allowed to enjoy this media, homie. PLUS I really wanna draw Junior mainly, yet I feel like my ass isn’t allowed to do that either. I need help here..
