“Hell of a way to be introduced to your new roomie…” He mumbled, stone arm swinging rather easily through the hordes of the undead. They threw themselves at him…and fell with a single swing of his arm. Granted, most of them got back up, just a little more irritated than they had been before. Flesh and blood appendage dove into the folds of his coat, producing a pistol and firing off a few shots to take off the heads of some of those that were closing in.
“Don’t suppose you’ve got any tricks up your sleeve for takin’ these guys down easily. I’ve got a few charms that might keep ‘em at bay but…won’t last long.”
Of course, he was lucky that he still had most of his charms and his gun. He wasn’t sure what he would have done without them in this instance. After emptying his clip, he grabbed another one between two large stone fingers, clapping it up into the chamber to get ready for another round. Yellow eyes shifted to regard the other slowly.
he regards his new companion--a large, red, oaf of a man, if he’s being frank-- with a calm look and an overall impassive expression. his new roommate (that term is so foreign to him, like a word he’s long forgotten the meaning of) seems quite capable...perhaps Smile won’t have to help out much at all. if he has to, he supposes he will, but for now he opts to observe.
when the other addresses him directly, Smile tilts his head just slightly enough to let him know he’s listening--even though he doubts the others line of sight will leave the shambling corpses.
“Tricks?” he repeats, brows raising. no, he thinks, i’m not the one cursed with such things. he slips his hammer out of his belt loop and spins it a few times in his hand...before swinging his arm and catching a nearby ‘zombie’ directly in the eye with it. he does it in such a fluid motion, it almost looks rehearsed. when eh yanks the tool back, the corpse slumps down the ground--for now. Smile catches his roommates gaze and, well, smiles. the grin quickly shoots onto his features, second nature.
“No, but we can handle it, don’t you think?”
