Hi there! Thank you for your question. With a lot of people between vacation and preparing to head back to school they're on Hiatus which has slowed things down. However, we still have quite a few posts a day on the dash every single day! I also know that there is constant plotting going on with the new members too so that's nothing to worry about. So I can say with certainty that there is reasonable activity going on for this time of the year and for a community that has been around for a while too!

Hello! Without spoiling too much, a short part of the trip such as now includes the students wandering around the cities of New Zealand. For these, we would be providing the city names so we would suggest to search around the tourist positions if you would like and seeing if your muse’s roommates or friends would be interested in going to those! Later on the students would be moving closer to the outskirts. For those ones, we will have small themes which you can follow for plotting. Or if you would like to have your own survival themed plot we would say go wild! I hope this helps.

umm, so i was just wondering. do hogwarts students use pens, or do they still use quills?
Hello! Thank you for the question. The Hogwarts students still use feathers as it is now more of an aesthetic choice, a bit of an old tradition if you will instead of sticking to what muggles use. But you can think of the feathers as being synthetic and has ink inside it already, so no messy dipping anymore! Much like a regular pen. Also as it's 2018, we would also assume that just like muggle students they may have their own version of tablets and laptops for them to carry around to write notes!

Hello! I wanted to ask what was the stance on apparating for students? Is it possible? If so, can only upper level students apparate if they've passed the apparate test? Sorry if this has been asked before!
Hi there! Thank you for the lovely question. Indeed you are correct only upper level students who have passed the apparation test are able to apparate. However, they are unable to do so inside the Hogwarts castle due to a ward placed around it. So no apparating into the building either. But once the students are out on the grounds however, they are free to go where they wish. Hope this answers your question!

I have a few questions about the event! Would a chosen person be able to overcome the brainwashing of the dagger? And how would you say a stabbing would go like is it done secretly or out in the open?
Hello! Thank you for your questions! First in regards to the brainwashing, nobody is able to overcome it nor ignore it. It is basically as suggested, mind control. The person who has been stabbed will be hyperfixated on the idea that they must spread mother's love to whoever they have strong attachments for and hasn't been infected as of yet. Mind you by strong attachments we don't mean simply just friends or lovers, afterall they do say that things such as hate is just a differents side of the same coin as love!
In regards to the stabbing, the dagger is aware that doing it in the open would certainly cause a lot of chaos so we could say that in the beginning when there are still few people it would be easier for them to do it secretly. But as more people are infected and the dagger has to travel further in order to find a victim, it might become a bit more rash! For the time being though, we prefer the asks/submit to imply secrecy.
