Hi! I'm Cosmos!

I decided to make a blog for creating System and MOGAI terms! I'm 20, my pronouns.cc is here, and I'll coin just about anything. All posts will be tagged accordingly, along with theme stuff, content warnings, etc!

The flags in my profile picture are the Gay Man and FTM flags with the Aldergalxholi flag overlaid on top.

This blog has NO DNI. You can use and reblog my terms regardless of your identity, communities, etc. I do want it made clear however that I am endo-safe, I don't care about ship discourse as long as nobody is being harmed, and I do not consider myself radqueer. I am radically inclusive and anti-harm. I do not mind if you oppose these views and still want to interact, as I believe self-identifying terms should be free for everybody regardless, but if these things are a dealbreaker for you as the reader, they should be known.

I WILL re-design flags if I believe the request to redesign is in good faith (ie, for accessibility, aesthetic, comfort, etc). Any requests I assume to be in bad faith will be deleted.

PermaTrans

[Flag ID: A radial flag in which each stripe is a circle getting progressively smaller. They are in the colours of the trans flag, that being, from outermost to innermost circle: Blue, Pink, White, Pink, Blue. In the center of the flag is a white reload symbol, an arrow moving in a circle, with a pink outline, in the same colours as the rest of the flag, continuing the colour pattern.]

A Non-RQ TransID where someone believes they are or should be permanently perceived as Trans, regardless of their presentation or the circumstances therein.

One may consider themself PermaTrans if:

They are genderfluid and want to always be percieved or known as trans, or considered trans in the direction of their current identity.

They are a system and want to always be percieved as trans in the direction of the current fronter's identity.

Any experience in which one wants to always be considered or viewed as Transgender (MtF, FtM, F/MtNB, F/MtX, etc) and would never want to be viewed as Cis.

This term is Not Inherently Radqueer, but anybody can use because we don't gatekeep terminology.

Divinusgender

[ID: A 7-striped flag, coloured gold, pale gold, white, dark gold, white, pale gold, gold.]

Divinusgender is a xenogender identity linked to divinity or being angelic, specifically in the form of being genderless because of one's divine/angelic status. While coined with the christian/catholic interpretation of angels in mind, any and all people can use this term if they feel it fits.

This term was originally coined by our alter, Auctor, back in 2020. However, the original post has been lost to time, so we're reposting so that it doesn't get lost again.

Flag Meaning: Gold = Divinity Pale Gold = Angels White = Clouds / Heaven Dark Gold = Self-perception through the lens of one's divinity/angelic status.

Teddy Bear

A Teddy Bear is a headmate whose role is to protect the younger members/syskids/littles of the system from external harm, traumatic memories, harmful members of the system, etc.

Teddy Bears may often appear big and scary, like a mobster or other menacing figure, but have a surprisingly big soft spot and protective instinct over children.

Did see something mentioning that Black people have been staying silent about the discussion to avoid being dogpiled, so I figured we should try and combat that. Give a way to try and listen to Black voices in MOGAI without forcing them to put themselves at risk. Yeah, we're a person of colour, but we're non-Black and white-passing.

Unfortunately can't add more options than yes, unsure/nuanced, and no given the limitations of Tumblr's polls feature. Encourage people to send us further asks to elaborate if you're comfortable doing so.

Aren't very good at social cues or socialization, aren't very good at recognizing the appropriateness or inappropriateness of things, and we experience completely zero empathy. Really encourage people to let us know when we've done something harmful. Won't always agree with you given we tend to be firm in our own values, but we at least want to know.

Anon asks are always turned on, and if you're uncomfortable with an ask but want to remain anonymous, then you could create an individual sideblog without any connection to your main blog and send us an anon ask giving us the URL and telling us to message you there. Can't send nor receive messages on radiomogai as this is a group sideblog (only run by us, other 'members' are alts) so messages will come from our main, petrichorvoices, but hopefully this will give people a way to have private, one-on-one conversations with us without having to reveal who they are. Should anyone have any suggestions for other ways we can make conversation with us easier, please do let us know. Know that we come off as intimidating on here and we want to do what we can to be approachable.

It is wondering if reblogging radqueer and related terms is smth it's audience is okay with. The poll is so that non-white beings can give their opinion without being attacked for it since people were scared to send anons about it.

Radio also mentions that it struggle with social cues and knowing what others deem harmful, and would like to know when it is doing something wrong.

They also say you can make a new sideblog and message them on the blog petrichorvoices for direct communication and total anonymity, instead of sending an ask.

Is there a term for like. headmates sourced from fears of the system? (Ex. self doubt, arachnophobia, stuff along those lines)

Almost a year later I'm clearing asks and realize I never got to this.

Please remember those in the MOGAI community who are not coiners. There is not enough appreciation for archivists, requesters, collectors, icon-makers, lurkers, accessibility blogs, everyone else. I believe that part of why there is so much pressure on coiners to coin consistently is because there is little value placed on any other activities within the community.

System Terms by Us:

Araisagenic/Imagenic:

-A system formed by MaDD or escapism, may have a headspace fused with or influenced by paracosms and parames, and may evolve into other types of systems(Gateway, Traumagenic, Parogenic, etc.) over time.

Araisative/Imative:

-A system member created in the same way a Araisagenic/Imagenic system is.

Narraplex:

-A type of system headspace that has a complicated inner narrative. Narraplex systems are diverse and the way headspace works is most often out of control of the system, and are decided by the systems headspace or brain, making it possible for fronters or headmates to see narratives coming. Often influenced by MaDD.

Influinspace:

-A type of system headspace that is easily influenced by ideas and outside sources. Things like story prompts, art, and even synesthesia can cause events in headpace, which can also influence introjection, or cause intratrauma. Often influenced by MaDD.

Cross-Fictive:

-A fictive that is a “crossover” of typically two or more fictional characters or creatures. Whether this be from mixed-source AUs or just plain and simple crossovers of roles, Cross-Fictives do not identify with their source character or “role”, simply as themselves.

Source Anxiety:

-Anxiety caused by an introjects source media or character/person being “problematic”, “cringy”, or otherwise worth hiding. This may cause the introject to disconnect from their identity to feel more safe or less ashamed, or to prevent people who may be triggered by their source being distressed.

Temp-Host/Toast:

-A host who only handles fronting for a short period of time, likely just to help the normal host rest.

Overseer:

A system member who keeps an eye on headspace and front, not always a gatekeeper. An Overseer’s job is to watch over things to make sure they’re safe. May also be a protector, or an archivist.

Brainmate/Braintive:

-A system member that is a personification of the system’s brain or thought process, often vocalizing thoughts to fronters or being an autopilot. May be a persecutor, protector, or fit into other roles.

Questionmate:

-A system member that does not know their identity, source, nor origins, and has to wait for or find their identity.

Semi-Seperated Subsystem:

-A subsystem that can optionally share a body/layer of headspace, where members are able to travel in and out of the layer/body of the subsystem.

Blurrflux:

-A fuzztive/fogtive that switches between identities, may be influenced by fiction/fact/otherkinning.

Abinary / Nongendered

Definition: Being outside the gender binary and/or refusing to let others dictate or label your gender identity, expression, or similar.

Alternative Laesumianromantic Flag!

My friend @nnugatoryextravagance wanted a more readable version of the Laesumianromantic flag, so I delivered! I made a version with and without the symbol.

Via the Aromantics Wiki: Laesumianromantic is a term on the aromantic spectrum. This is for someone who feels their romantic attraction is 'damaged' due to past trauma, said person may still feel romantic attraction to some extent, or not at all, but if so it usually feels off. This does not imply survivors are damaged in any way, just some may feel that has happened to their attraction.

This term should only be used by trauma survivors and those with PTSD. The sexual counterpart of this flag is Laesumian.
