"nontransitioning nonbinary people who did nothing except change their name, pronouns and label"
ah, so you mean nonbinary people who *checks notes* have transitioned.

"nontransitioning nonbinary people who did nothing except change their name, pronouns and label"
ah, so you mean nonbinary people who *checks notes* have transitioned.
so as a trans nonbinary person I'm rather used to people telling me the gender based oppression that I face is "not real" or "made up" or "unimportant" or any other bs used to either erase or diminish it; so when I see another group of trans people who's gender based oppression is described as "not real" or "made up" forgive me if my reaction is "oh shit those people are going through the same stuff I went through" instead of "surely the critics weren't right about me but when they say the exact same bullshit to another trans group they're entirely right this time" -_-
not wanting to be a woman doesn't mean you have to be a man
not wanting to be a man doesn't mean you have to be a woman
you do not have to be either. you can be neither or something else entirely.
when seeing the term "transfem" the first thought shouldn't only be a binary woman. when seeing the term "transmasc" the first thought shouldn't only be a binary man.
it's so obvious when someone thinks transfem and transmasc is a (often binary) woman and man exclusive club. transfem ≠ woman and transmasc ≠ man. there's terms for when you mean trans women and trans men, and it's yknow, trans woman and trans man.
i'm tired of nonbinary, abinary, anodiean, etc people who are transfem/masc while not being binary women / men**, being ignored erased or added as an afterthought. i'm tired of multigender, genderfluid, etc people who are transfem/masc, having part of their identity ignored because most posts about transfem/mascs has a monogender centered concept. and i'm tired of people who aren't just one trans label being ignored or an afterthought.
** some people do identify as both binary and nonbinary, and some nonbinary people do identify as women / men. but even then most people exclude them due to the push of strict experience boxes.
⚠️ Do not use they/them if talking about me to others in reblogs/comments. I have neopronouns in my pinned post ⚠️
Non binary characters' ships always getting tagged as yaoi or yuri. Exorsexism but qls9 diamoricism?
This is diamoricism (which inherently branches from exorsexism.)
The only times it is ever okay to label a relationship with an enban as yaoi or yuri is if the character themselves has canonically done as such, or if the character has canonically expressed being binary-aligned (and expressed being okay with binary terms) and is with someone else who is binary/binary-aligned
Instead, use the following terms (which function in the same way sapphic and achillean do):
- Diamoric (Any relationship that involves a non-binary person)
- Enbian (EnbyxEnby)
- Toric (Enbyxman) or Adonic (ManxEnby)
- Trixic (Enbyxwoman) or Maedic (WomanxEnby)
Or use these terms (which function in the same way that lesbian, uranian, and straight do):
- Ceteramoric (Enby Primarily attracted to enbies)
- Viramoric (Enby primarily attracted to men)
- Feminamoric (Enby primarily attracted to women)
- Tria[sexual/romantic/platonic/etc] (Anyone, binary or non-binary, who is primarily attracted to Enbies. Ceteramoric falls under this.)
(Feel free to reblog and tag any ships from any fandom that involves a non-binary character. Spread the word.)
Just a wee reminder that the first recording of neopronouns was 1789, one of the oldest noted examples of neopronouns were 'thon'! And also remember the key word 'recorded' so that means neopronouns could've existed even WAY before that
(Edit! Thon was actually created in 1858! And in 1789 it was 'ou', sry for not updating that quick enough 😅)
stop associating testosterone with only men and estrogen with only women. thanks.
so yknow the "AAA battery" joke with aspec identities? well there's a lot of versions of that whether its Aro/Ace/Agender or Aro/Ace/Autistic, but... theres so many other A's too: Abro, Aplatonic (and other Aspec orientations), Androgyne, Abinary, Atrinary, Alterhuman, ADHD and more- you get it.
so, i wonder... how many As can one battery have???
