My Fav Music:

I’m kinda mixed rn. I’ve been listening to a lot of 2010s techno pop lately. But my all time faves are Fleetwood Mac, One Direction, Panic at the disco, Adele, MCR, and David Duchovny. I also really like but know less of Doja cat, yunglean, kreayshawn, Selena Gomez, Crystal Castles, Amy winehouse, The Smiths and The Cure.

This gets updated every so often, as I evolve a lot as a person.

Me the first half of The Backrooms: "oh I get it. He's a down on his luck failed architect and even more failed furniture store owner who's trying to better himself. He'll probably be fascinated with the furniture/architecture of the backrooms and start selling the items there for money + notoriety. And eventually he'll go deeper and deeper to get more and more items until he gets trapped and encounters The Horrors. A classic tale of hubris :) "

the best fanfiction you've ever read was written by a woman in her 40s before she made dinner for her kids. it was written by a teenager after school when they should've been studying for a history test. and a barista came up with the idea while they cleaned the espresso machine and busser fact-checked it on their break and the post-doc edited between writing grant proposals and the nurse apologized for typos in the notes after a long shift and behind every drabble and one-shot and multi-chapter fic there is a person with a wonderful and interesting and chaotic life and it is such a privilege that we get to be apart of it because they decided to do this thing we all share, for fun.

Hey Tumblr fam! I am working on my masters in journalism and I’m doing my final project on the backrooms! With the new A24 movie coming about it I thought it would be cool to do a story on it! I am looking for people to interview that either make their own backrooms content or run backrooms/ liminal blogs! I would like the interviews to be over a recorded zoom call as my project is video based but i understand people not being comfortable with that , so text based interviews or even just phone audio recording are perfectly fine too!!
