It is pretty early (1:55 EST) don’t expect many people to actually see this BUT. Crowdfunding is lowkey a struggle right now for us.

NOW don’t get me wrong I can work with what we have and pay the rest out of pocket but it isn’t really feasible for the full season.

I am hoping to set up a patreon after the crowdfundr is done and dusted so people that want to continue to contribute can. There are 28 days left in the campaign so there’s still hope to get some last minute contributions! Saying last minute because it was a 60 day campaign! We are almost in the final stretch! That being said thank you to everyone that did contribute this far and to people that will!

The art yall seen posted from @mindtheanalogpod was specifically designs I was commissioned to do for them! And just for fun I thought I’d show the progress of the character designs:

I was given full freedom with how the characters would look, more important was that the characters were from a modern setting of an alternate steampunk universe. Which made me very excited as a gave a little bit of character to each of the designs:

A no nonsense Lawyer

A curious Doctor Scientist

A time travelling Main character (which was very important to stick out a bit from the crowd)

And of course… the curious anomaly

Here’s their lineart! It’s always the most time consuming and tedious part for me as I am very peculiar with how I want it to look. I thought the jewellery would stand out extra much if I gave it a minimal amount of shading and part of the lineart instead of the colouring stage.

AND HERE’S THE FINAL RESULT!

With mandatory vintage grain of course and colours that I hope fits the vibe of the podcast. And that’s it! Hope yall enjoyed my little run-through of my progress.

The Holmwood Foundation is a Found Footage Horror-Fiction Podcast, a modern-day sequel to the gothic novel Dracula.

We follow Maddie Townsend (Rebecca Root) and Jeremy Larkin (Seán Carlsen), two co-workers at the Holmwood Foundation: a secret organisation that has been maintaining and studying the remains of Count Dracula for the last 130 years, as they are possessed by the ghosts of Jonathan and Mina Harker, and embark on a nightmare road trip, carrying Dracula's severed head across the UK, in an effort to stop him once and for all.
