How you got into puyo puyo and thoughts on how Arle looks in Sonic racing Crossworlds

I got into puyo puyo like more than 10 or so years ago. I mostly just stumbled across something mentioning Puyo Puyo in a SEGA game review type thing (i don't specifically remember).

I thought the art style was very cute so I looked it up and started watching cutscenes on youtube, and before flash was discontinued found some online roms you could play directly on a website without downloading and played some of Puyo 15th anniversary and Tsu + it's reskins (Kirby's Avalanche).

I started really getting into it when I got my Nintendo switch in Highschool and I saw there was a demo for Puyo Puyo Tetris. I played it a lot especially with my classmates and eventually I ended up getting the full game + I got copies of it as well as Puyo Champions on steam shortly after.

I was pretty much already in the Puyo community for a while but I didn't have any online presence or started actively posting my Puyo art until the 2020 pandemic. I did post art but it was very sporadic and sprinkled in with a bunch of other stuff I like. (Someone remind me to post a bunch of my old work cus I still have it saved).

After that I slowly started morphing into who I am today.

And to answer your question about Arle in crossworlds:

I think her model and car look amazing and I cannot wait to be able to play as her in May. I an very happy she has been added to the game and this marks a huge milestone for Puyo Puyo getting to be apart of official SEGA all-stars collabs!

And we're finally here. The main character of Puyo adapted to Pu-Yo-Oh. Meet Arle Nadja and her ancient Egyptian magical ghost that possesses her, Lilith.

A great big thank you to the amazing @cosmicpopstar64 for bringing these two to (half-)life.

As for the Yugioh side of things? Well of course the original Puyo protagonist was gonna be combined with the original Card Game protagonist, Yugi Mutou and Yami Yugi.

Accidentally caught in the middle of a battle between Satan and an old foe of his, Arle was left critically injured, broken down to just half of her very soul. Desperate to save her, Satan found and bestowed her with the Seraphim Orb, an item of incredible magical power once wielded by a Sorceress he had a powerful connection to. The Orb saved her life, but now Arle finds herself suffering from strange bouts of amnesia and blackouts. What mysteries lie within the Orb and the ancient soul slumbering within?

And whatever happened to the other half of Arle's soul anyway?

What do you imagine Lagarle would try and do on their first date?

I have two ideas for what their first date would be. Either they both go on an adventure/quest together. OOOR they just go out and have a relaxing stroll + grab a bite to eat together. I feel like they would both be kind of awkward, still acting like they usually do around another but maybe with some romantic tension to thick you could cut it with a knife. Like maybe some awkward attempts at flirting or hand holding haha.

What are you most looking forward to in the Sonic-Puyo 35th anniversary celebration?

Any and all new character art esp for merch (please everytime I see those same 20th renders I die inside).

I also hope for any new mainline series game. And since we have basically gotten confirmation for a crossworlds collab as long as Arle I will be happy.

Honestly this right now is better than the 30th anniversary, I have faith SEGA won't fumble so they better not make me look dumb.
