#itried This was hard to color either because I was planning the colors beforehand or season 6 had dropped and I had temporarily died lol. Since my preferred skin tone pencil for Allura is a tiny stub now, I was fiddling with my prismacolor browns to find a good mix. I think this turned out pretty good!

Just something I didn’t take very seriously at first because I was too busy sobbing my way through Violet Evergarden but got really serious after deciding to push the boundries of my drawing comfort zone. Mouths and reaching out poses are hard for me, but somehow this turned out alright.

I made a birthday present for my friend and I’m just really proud that I seem to be improving with coloring and poses. Kanan from Love Live is one of her favorites. I really should pick that up at some point, but since I don’t know a whole lot about her right now (and they seem to have complex stage out fits I can’t hope to patiently replicate) I gave her one of my favorite Lolirock dresses to wear. It’s a slightly different color of Talia’s stage dress for the song Celebrate.

Trying to figure out if any of my new color pencils are any good at medium skin tones or if I need to go and buy a new set of crayola color pencils to replace my rapidly shrinking tan pencil. I have never drawn Korra before now, I don't even know why it ended up being her.

I went through a lot of feelings while drawing this. From “oh no, that tender expression” to “this is the best hug pose I’ve ever done” to “oooooh that doesn’t actually logically work but I can’t turn back now cause it’s inked and I just got a half priced set of prismacolor pencils so IT MUST BE FINISHED!!!”

Regardless of the errors that stand out to my eyes, I’m pretty proud of this! Now to sit tight for season 5′s release this week!

Please give me a klance hug scene after some scolding for how stupid it was for Keith to pull such a stupid stunt I would even accept a platonic one.

Since Tokyo Mew Mew was the series that got me into drawing and marked my offical descent into the world of anime and manga, I couldn’t resist! I had (still have?) a weird thing for asymmetrical outfits back then, so Mew Mew Keith got the thigh-high and knee-high boot set.

I was disappointed there weren’t any hippo-themed pick-up lines, so enjoy a terrible joke told by Lance (yes he is a shark, a Dusky Shark).
