Just got some of the refs for Twilight Town's next few pages. The study is also like a hobby room where the young adult housemates hangout. Also I just love the idea that different parts of the mansion have different colors. Not just the standard pinks and red.
All the CC here is from @peacemaker-ic

I may have felt alittle bored so I may have decided to make Twilight Town in the Sims. out of boredom, and fixation
Ruby has the vampire life stage but I shall make her plasma guilty (She tries not to drink blood of innocents) and I tried to make due with what cc and stuff I owned.
Working on Iris rn, man it is hard but at least I'm playing the game eeeey.
Finished the main area of Ultimate Pizzaplex's Parts and Service! Did some more updates to make it have some more color and liveliness. Not just for Bree and Kellen but for the animatronics there. I did a blend of reshade just to see some of how the lighting could be affected. I'll work on the workshop soon!
I'm sorta excited. I didn't get much of a chance to play the sims 4 outside of getting things for references. I'm gonna make her up and send pictures soon.
I'm about to download this amazing mod! for those who don't know. Sims 2 is my favorite Sims game for the gameplay and nostalgia filter and Sims 4 for the looks of the sims. This might as well be the perfect blend of those two!
So alongside ENAF, I’m using the Sims to also help with backgrounds in Twilight Town. Specifically the rooms of the characters. The cartoon didn’t have interiors that could be very clear or consistent (specifically Ruby’s as her furniture placement would be different every so often) so the best you could get is general aesthetic and important furniture.
So using Sims it would at least show the vibe and personality of the character who lives in it.
With Ruby, both show and Twilight, she’s probably the one who owns it so the master bedroom belongs to her. She also lives with her cat hence the cat condo.
She’s a fan of crafts such as knitting and even painting so I believe she has knitting and sewing items around her room (even a crafts table).
In Twilight she is a blogger so she also got her camera and computer though I believe she would own a laptop.
In the Show there are a lot of paintings and pictures, so to add to that gothic look they’re all over her wall.
And finally colors, Ruby’s room in the show is surprisingly very pink so in this version, I wanted more of the reddish hue to the pink since Iris would have the pink motif more than Ruby who is red.
Besides all that, I’m excited to draw her room in the webcomic. Somethings might look different from these pictures but that’s all normal when working with references
Here's how the "using Sims 4 to make backgrounds" is going!
Since Parts and Service is a mixture of a hangout spot for Bree and Kellen as well as an actual workshop, the main area the elevator opens up to is a little longue area with a tv and such, a space that is where the warehouse is in, and an upper docking area that has an archway into the workshop. (plus the ground level one that is heavily decorated)
Taxi mod & sound override (same object as the loading screen taxi)
// Compatible Mods ✅
UI Cheats Extension by weerbesu - original mod required
Fully compatible w/ UI Cheats Extension v1.40. To avoid any issues, keep the original mod in your mods folder (both .package and .ts4script) and have it load after the Sims 2 UI mod.
Other major mods are also compatible (BetterBuildBuy, TOOL, More Traits in CAS, etc.)
So today I learned that plenty of artists use the Sims for background refs. Is this true? Maybe so. Blender is a huge program and sketching out buildings on my own with 0 refs is a pain.
Anywho, I'm gonna start playing the sims again so I can work on giving my comic actually good looking backgrounds like it deserves.
Plus it might help me out in making my CosmiSimmer blog more active. At least something will be posted there until I ever get time to make the MySims Project
I'll probably share the process and stuff publicly and not patreon dor my first steps of trying it. (Also If I use cc, I'll credit the original simmers)
Back in 2007, EA launched MySims, a spin-off of The Sims. The game was a more simplistic life simulator and with dozen of NPC sims and a player character. The story was about the player's character moving into a struggling town and helps fix it.
I grew up playing MySims Agent a bit on my DS. I didn't play the original one until I saw it available to play on PC (bc it's still in stores) and I first played MySims Kingdom on my boyfriends Wii. It was a lot fun and it was a cute casual series. Unfortunately the company of MySims is defunct and the last MySims game was in 2010.
But that doesn't mean MySims was completely forgotten.
In the Sims 4, you can get collectibles that are actually figurines of MySim Characters which are a lot of them and are a fun easter egg.
Additionally, EA made a few MySims characters as premade Sims. But there was a big problem...
They were very...very bad. Bad personalities that didn't match the original characters, bad appearances that were a complete change from the original designs, and in the worst case whitewashed two of them.
So due to these issues and the lack of MySims helping add more variety to the game. I decided to create a new project known as:
My Sims 4
I will be recreating every MySim character there is in the MySims series as well as refix the ones premade for Sims 4. I am also going to set them up as if they are premade meaning reworked personalities, careers, interests, and relationships that better fit the original source material.
I will make two versions for these sims:
Vanilla: The Vanilla versions are for players who either don't play with Custom Content or Console players. It also makes them actually visible on the Gallery
Sundae: The Sundae versions have custom content on there and I will credit all of the original creators for what I use.
Fair Warning: I have most if not all the Expansion, Game, and Stuff Packs (also a few kits but that's it) So it's best to have those if you want to download these sims.
I'm excited to get started with this! First will be the BFF Household (Summer, Travis, and Liberty) and the sisters (Candy and Yuki)
