Awkward Life story #2

I was once having a casual conversation with someone and we stumbled onto the subject of music and, as I had recently fallen down the rabbithole of Hozier's glorious discography, I brought him up, then said "I love that bogman". The conversation ground to an abrupt halt, awkward silence fell, and i realized that, apparently, unless someone is as deeply entrenched in the Hozier fandom as I am, I cant refer to him as "bogman" without creating a very awkward situation indeed.
