Screw you guys, I’m not going home!

N’EX or Narita Express (成田エクスプレス）of the JR EAST (JR東日本) railroad company is a dream train. The recent (introduced in 2009) E259 series of train seems to come out of a sci-fi world or a video game… Whenever it arrives I re-experience some key train moments of Final Fantasy games. (FF7 game opening, any one?).

What also amazes me, is the personal space in japanese express trains, all of them. If you look at the picture of my legs, you can see that I’m fully stretching and I still have plenty of room even though I’m 1m81, quite tall in Japan. You can also recline the seats a lot more than on airplanes or european high-speed trains.
