Still not over the time I was walking around my apartment cooking dinner and talking on the phone to @cottagecore-cryptid-cowboy and they told me about how they had been sitting on the couch and looked up to see a shadowy figure with long needle like fingers disappear from looking out and them from the bathroom.

And I was alone in the apartment with that knowledge for another hour.

body positivity chain!!

tbh there are a lot of things i dislike about my body, but there is no place for that on my page! so, here are the rules:

1. name 3 things you like about your body, and why

2. tag some mutuals to spread the positivity :D

for me,

1. my eyes! theyre basically the definition of hazel! a dark green base color with streaks of brown stretching between my pupil and the edge of my iris, finishing with a super dark brown ring encircling it all. i love eyes, i think they are so pretty, and i love that mine are kinda unique 😁

2. even though its been misbehaving lately, i like my hair. ive always had pretty curls! my dad is a redhead so i have apparent red tints in my hair, and the rest of it is a nice shade of brown

3. my teeth used to be really crooked and i had braces when i was 7. but now they are pretty straight (but not sickeningly perfect). during the years when my depression was at its worst, i often neglected to take care of my physical health, which included brushing my teeth, so they were a gross color. ive been doing a lot better lately and have slipped into a routine of brushing my teeth daily! i admire the whiteness of my teeth, cause they are physical indications of the improvements on my mental health, and i am proud of that!

Thank you for tagging me @neonified you are one of my favorite accounts.

1) I like my eyes too. I am so grateful for them, and they let me see every single day, which I do not take for granted.

2) I like my hands. I also don’t know what I would do without them. I have a little mole on my dominant hand that I used to pretend was an eye so I could make a hand puppet as a kid (it was cute, not creepy, I promise).

3) I also like my teeth. I’m congenitally missing both of my permanent mandibular canines (#22 and #27). Missing one of these canines is considered very rare (between .01-.04% of the population), but missing both of them is even rarer. I’ve always thought of this as a fun icebreaker fact that I get to share with others, and it has always been a great help with making new friends.

I’ve been due for a sixth Owen Wilson dream, as is the pattern of things, and it’s absence is beginning to worry me. Perhaps it is that with this blog I think of him more, and therefore am not allowed to dream. But without my dreams how can I be what I claim to be?
