Cleaning out dad's apartment. In the bathroom. Picking up a dusty razor knocks a sample bottle of shampoo, some dental floss, and tweezers down from the shelf. So I close the door to the medicine cabinet, apartment open behind me, scouting ants marching to the kitchen from the hole in the door and I am, distantly, aware of mom asking you okay? but the name she says isn't mine and she doesn't know her own damn son sons son son daughter child children but how could she? And now it has been a few minutes and I am staring, left hand limp and right hand loosely holding the trash bag, and I do not know the aching thing looking back at me, this beautiful walking corpse who cannot possibly be me. I'm killing him. I'm killing him every second and I can't stop. I'm killing his father, too, ripping apart everything he ever was or could be even in the dust and cat piss.

He never blocked my number, you know. His last attempt at a text to me was March 31, 2024 — "Happy Easter!" He Is Risen, on Transgender Visibility Day, how strange. I wonder what it would be like if Jesus' father kept him entombed until he came back as something that could only live in the cave, bat-thing, cockroach, olm. But Yeshua, he made you live, did he not?

So I was thinking when I was younger — when he was, I mean, that thing in this reflection, here, now, his mother shaking his shoulder — he used to dream of being a bunny rabbit with a wolf sinking his teeth into his torso. "It hurts, but it's nice to give something." Well, now is the part to pack up the sheep's clothing and admit he grew up to cower in the corner and put his fingers between my fangs. And I am a tail-between-my-legs sick beast that will not bite down, cannot eat at all.

been not posting because i don't think what i make is any good, which is not very in line with my "make bad art" thing. so i'm posting what i think is the ugliest (visually and morally and personally) thing i've made in a while, which was a sort of journal entry from today.

want to do another h&b page but i keep getting distracted looking at the one i just finished bc al is so hot its unreal and then i forget what im doing who i am and what year it is

idk at what point i will call this thing finished but right now i just pull it out every couple of days to consider Textures. gesso and acrylic, broken tempered glass, my own hair, and other found materials pasted onto a cut up old sweatshirt 💌
