My headcannon for the daughter au is more thought out at the moment so-
Basically he has a daughter from a high school relationship that was obviously unplanned. After she was born his girlfriend left him and his family shunned the two of them. He’s been trying to take care of her as best he can taking up odd jobs here and there, but it’s definitely taken a lot out of him. One day on his way home from work he’s driving under influence bc he was out with a few friends and accidentally hits his daughter(ep 7 flashbacks). While waiting at the hospital for news on her recovery he’s approached by a C&A employee, who offers him enough money to treat his daughter and buy them a better life afterwards. He’s taken to the circus and only realizes after the fact that he was tricked. As time goes on he begins to accept his reality and even forgets about her almost completely. But when he remembers what his life was like before and how he wasn’t able to take very good care of his kid he decides to stay, believing that someone else will take better care of her than he ever could.
The little sister au I imagine to be kind of like Lilo and Stitch-
Two siblings with a big age gap who lost their parents somewhat recently so the oldest takes up the role of “parent” and has to support the two of them. Jax loves his little sister, but is terrible with kids and doesn’t always know how to manage her on top of all the work he has to do.
