"As discussed during your briefing, your primary objective is to secure and bring back the Crystal. Your secondary objective is to secure as many loose assets as possible. You've been equipped with a diving tank, allowing you to navigate any potentially flooded areas. You've also been equipped with a Crystal container, used for securing the crystal if, erh, when, you reach it. You have permission to use any additional equipment you may find. Our Navi-Path AI has marked the shortest route possible to your primary objective."
...OOC, this is a Pressure gimmick blog inspired by @couldtheycatchkira and @couldtheyescortelliewilliams where I basically just post a random character and ask you all to sort them into one of six categories:
No, they wouldn't even get close: This character's journey through the Blacksite could merit the Death Any% badge. They wouldn't stand a chance against the horrors of the Hadal Blacksite. They would probably die during Anticipation, to the first Angler, or to the Good People twice before even getting to the shop.
No, but they'd get close: This character would be pretty good at avoiding the entities, maybe even making it past the shop, but they wouldn't be able to make it to the Ridge, much less get the crystal back to Urbanshade.
No, but just because Lucy stepped on them at the end: This character could've gotten the crystal back to Urbanshade, but they made one mistake that made them unable to finish their task. Poor character...
Yes, but they'd barely be alive by the end: This character would get the crystal back, all right, but they'd be so messed up by the end that they'd probably collapse in the submarine or something.
Yes, with some damage: This character would be able to get the crystal back, but maybe they got Good People'd before the final encounter, or they just took some damage along the way.
Yes, without so much as a scratch: This character's journey through the Blacksite might just merit the Extra Careful badge. Through sheer force of will, incredible powers of logic and deduction, or just plain dumb luck, they managed to get the crystal back without any major losses.
Feel free to reblog any posts I make, and reach out to Mod HQ (who is me) with any questions or suggestions.
The rules for the judgment are as follows:
The character in the post will not have any of their usual equipment or companions. That means Ash Ketchum doesn't have his Pikachu, Dora the Explorer doesn't have her backpack or map, Block Tales' Player doesn't have their ball or sword, etc.
The character in the post will be wearing the EXR-P jumpsuit. That means if their usual clothes have magical powers or if they have something in their pockets, they won't be able to use those either. They probably don't, but still.
The character in the post will be wearing the PDG (Prisoner Diving Gear). That means that they'll be able to use it to swim underwater, but if they make one wrong move, boom! The diving gear shoots them in the neck.
The tags I use are as follows:
#conscripted expendable — A character submitted in an ask.
#the intercom chimes — A note from the mod.
"It should be noted that you'll mostly be left on your own, as we are currently busy managing multiple teams. We will tune in from time to time, if it matters in the moment. Open the door, and proceed when ready."
