His answer was enough for Cash to confirm to himself that he was certainly suggesting what he thought he was. The vampire was certainly not someone he'd ever expect to approach him, nor would he really, he always felt out of place next to the fancy types- but he also wasn't opposed to new experiences. He could work with the fancy get-up. "Well, how am I 'pposed to say no to that?" He rose a brow, tongue coming out to wet his lips, "Sure would be nice to get a change a' scenery." He had always been vague, not from being shy but purely because he had been publicly closeted in his human life. Almost all of his conversations had been coded and vague.
Cash rose his brows as the councilman introduced himself fully and even bowed. He wanted to chuckle, but he bit his tongue, assuming it would've been rude. "Yeah, for sure. My bad, been awhile since i've read anything about y'all," Forty-five years too long, but he wouldn't bring up specifics mainly because he hadn't actually been keeping count. "It's nice to meet you-" He hesitated, southern manners and the assumption that calling him 'councilman' would be more respectful battling it out in his head for a moment, "Councilman sir?"
"I don't expect you to." Granted, Cash didn't really have a choice though Roland was rather more considerate of that than the other masters. Still, he seemed willing enough now that they'd clarified what he wanted of him. "I can only imagine. I assure you that my suite is far superior to this." That was also quite an understatement. The Undercroft was drab, boring, and generally a distasteful place to be. Roland didn't mind coming down for his brief visits he rarely spent a long time down here unless he couldn't quite make up his mind about which slave he wanted at that particular time.
Roland inclined his head at the acknowledgement. "I suppose you aren't exactly provided with current reading material down here." Cash's attitude hadn't changed dramatically upon finding out that he was a councilman which was a good sign. The vampire waved a hand at the honorific. "You may call me Roland. I prefer it, in fact, given how intimately acquainted we'll soon be." He smirked then gestured for Cash to come with him. "Follow me." Roland arranged the rental with the guards and soon enough he was pushing open the double doors to his extravagant suite. "Do sit down. What will you have to drink?" Roland gestured at one of the antique sofas then made his way to the bar. It seemed like it had been a while since he'd started like this with a slave and today he felt like rectifying that. He poured himself a glass of bloodwine as he waited for Cash's answer.
