It had taken Roland rather longer to actually make this decision than it usually did. Often he made decisions quickly and jumped into things, not one to linger too much on the consequences or details. If he wanted something, he generally took it. This, however, had required more consideration and Rhys' approval, of course, but it was high time he'd put in the request. Now that it had gone through and the new collar had been purchased and suitably enchanted, Roland was excited. He'd never claimed a slave before and had never thought he would. His feelings about that and circumstances had changed, however, and it was going to be very novel. He'd lived with lovers before but never with a slave. Of course the vampire had already taken the liberty of outfitting Adrasia's room in his suite with his own lavish taste though he would hardly be against it if the celestial wanted to decorate his own way. It seemed only fair to start him off with something, however, and he fully intended to take him shopping for a new wardrobe once he'd picked him up. The drab Undercroft clothes certainly wouldn't do for something of Roland's, he only kept beautiful things, after all.
The vampire glided with his usual elegance and grace on his way to the Undercroft but there was a notable spring in his step and a sparkle in his eyes. One hand carried an elegant velvet box inside of which was Adrasia's new collar, a beautiful piece of gold and diamonds. No doubt it would indicate just who he belonged to to anyone who glimpsed it if they knew Roland even a little. Reaching the Undercroft, he sought out the angel, knowing he would be down there with the claim through but not having sent guards or any forewarning because he wanted it to be a bit of a surprise. Finally spotting him, Roland grinned and walked over.
"Bonjour, mon ange. I have a surprise for you." He held out the box for Adrasia to take. "A gift, if you will, of a rather permanent nature." Roland clasped his hands behind his back and waited for the celestial to open the box and take in what was inside before he explained further, though he didn't feel like he could wait too long. "You're mine, now. As of today, you'll no longer wear that dull brown thing nor continue to live down here. You'll wear that instead and stay in my suite." Roland grinned. "Shall I put it on you and see how it looks?"
