JK Rowling might have trans friends, but she hasn’t been listening to them. Even if she was, trans people can also have bad opinions. Also, let’s just get this out of the way- I understand biology, mate, XX and XY and penises and all, so let’s leave that nonsense off the table.

These are examples of MEN, not TRANS WOMEN. These people are sex offenders, they had prior offenses, they did not identify as trans. These people would be criminals whether or not trans women were allowed into bathrooms at all.
You’re conflating the crimes of men with the very concept of being trans, which, guess what- Kind of harmful!

What you’re doing is deplorable. You’re conflating the crimes of male pedophiles and sex pests to trans women. Trans women are not criminals. Trans women are the victims of hate-crimes perpetrated by YOUR way of thinking.
I, just like you, think invading women’s spaces to make them feel unsafe is deplorable. I think that the crimes of the six men labeled above are deplorable. Don’t use unrelated crimes and pin them on trans women.
If you want to discuss how to keep men and pedophiles out of bathrooms, I’m all ears! I’d love to hear any solutions. But you’re not looking for THOSE solutions, you’re looking for reasons to keep TRANS WOMEN out of women’s bathrooms.

These things are not incompatible. Women and girls can and should be safe, and trans people should feel comfortable being who they are.
