courage-aspect:
Orianthe made an effort to bound towards one of the shorter peaks, hand gripping the jagged edge of one ledge, hanging from it with treads dug into the stone and snow, “ come on ! I know you’re faster than that ! ” she called up at the beast who now circled an adjacent peak. It clawed around and faced her, growling with menace in it’s tone. Then a bright ball of fire was launched, unhinging it’s jaw.
She makes quick effort to leap from one point to a plateau like watering hole, graced by glistening falls. Quick in her step and agile, darting forwards once she noticed the drake coming straight for her, making such an inhuman right turning slide over the cragged surface. It really did appear as if the dragon was attempting to kill her, but the entire while the aspect was only playing games with a behemoth.
Alas, Orianthe’s display went almost entirely unnoticed. Celeste was captivated by the sight before her, watching the egg wriggle and shake. Oh, stars, it was hatching. It was really, truly hatching! Celeste watched as the shell cracked, and after several seconds, a tiny head poked out. The hatchling emitted a small wine, its looking around and sniffing the air. Then it noticed Celeste.
“H-Hey there little guy… Just, try not to move too much, alright?” Not quite the composition she was going for, but Celeste could work with this. She hastily began painting the nest, even as the other eggs began to hatch. This was fine. She could improvise. Celeste would commit the sight of the dragons hatching to memory and forced herself to paint the outline first and foremost. Little did she realize the newborns’ cries would soon attract the attention of their parents…
The last hatchling escaped it's shell, and in unision they would cry out , not loud, but enough to bring the attention back to them, the dragon Orianthe had been playing tag with turned away and flew back, the aspect haulting in her step as she spots Celeste.
" Oh no -- " she sighs, drawing DAWN, her starfire blade, and dashes quickly past the dragon with the speed of a comet, stopping beside Celeste and holding her blade in both hands, " careful, she is coming back. "
