Project Update

Hi reader(s)! Thank you for your interest since the early beginning.

I wanted to give you all an update on what's happening with the project, which started out as a wacky experiment to pitch myself a tv series (after frustrations over canceled shows I want to watch; guess which ones! ;) ). I had limited time/energy and ability (which is a major reason, as my critical eye is more advanced than my actual skill, leading to fear and disappointment) but was desperate for productivity during one of many low points in my life. This was all I could muster without completely falling apart. Though even this low level of investment is draining.

Having reached 92 strips (some in the queue) makes reaching 10099 (I missed 1!) looks like a real possibility. I want to try to aim for that number. But beyond that I'm thinking of putting a soft stop to the project and work on something else.

For anyone else out there wanting to create stories about trans* characters. GO FOR IT. My superficial impression of the trans* webcomics scene is that it's still quite "popular" to make stories about the transition process and the normal day-to-day struggle. Or maybe it's just not clear to me how one go about finding stories that just happen to have VISIBLE trans* characters in them who don't serve as comedic relief or red shirts. Word of mouth recommendations, perhaps.

Asexuality has also been an interesting "food for thought" to me since the start of this project. I'm attempting to explore the subject further through another medium.
