Could use this to help with Mini-p’s nursery school, the need to get our winter tires put on rims (which would save us tire-changing money in the long run), maybe someday help me visit my family in the US again, lol… :) Between winter tires at the start of the year, needing to have the garage door fixed, needing a new dryer, then losing the nice subsidized nursery school program, etc…2018 has been a bit spendier than normal. D'oh.

This next year im going to focus on making this my fulltime blog. I want to be able to say at the end of the year, that i saved 25% of my income, based off this last years pay, should be about $10K. i can do this. im just sick of seeing people who knocked out debt and are on the other side trying to walk people through it. im ready to share my ups and downs and really see how thrifty i can get this year😉 tomorrow im going to post my starting place and im going to commit to posting that at least three days BEFORE my next check. im going to work on accomplishments and not beating myself up if i dont feel like im making good enough progress. im going to make this work💪🏻 I have enough, i make enough, and i enjoy my life. i am going to focus on making this the best life possible.

I feel like a ninja!

I returned part of my Home Depot order and got $3! Then went to target and returned some battery operated string lights my mom bought me, she paid $1.50 and they returned them without the receipt for $16!!! Needless to say I didn’t feel guilty about my now free Starbucks. And then I sold a game to game stop because I never play it for $8 and also returned a movie to Walmart for $5 on a gift card I can use for gas. So I have $11 for groceries at target( will get me some necessities) and gas and a small amount of cash. Still trying not to spend anything else! Buttttt if I wanna I don’t feel as guilty. Still wanna end up selling stuff on etsy soon! So keep an eye out!

Day 6!

Eye is feeling a lot better and not so swollen. Antibiotics seem to be working but they are draining my energy! Going tomorrow to do some returns for gift cards so my no spend will stay the same! (Hopefully) and to return some of the stuff to Home Depot. Bugs are still getting through the door. So I’m just returning partial of the stuff. I also found a random video game in my room I’m going to try and sell at game stop. Just hoping for about $3… who knows lol. Mom came over and helped me clean and sort and discard a lotttt of stuff. My grandparents bought me a storage shelving unit for my back storage room and we put a lottttt of my fabrics into bins. I have a few projects lined up for this week to try and make some things to sell on etsy! This is the first week in awhile that I have the energy and motivation to tackle this all. I’m ready for tomorrow to see how victorious I will be!

Also this is the first week I’ve been this close on money after paying bills and it’s freaky, but I have to get the debt down somehow… so here’s to working through it all until I can get a better job :/

Filter needed! Day 5; not even thinking about going out for happy hour. Instead I just had to pay $35 at the pharmacy to get meds for an eye infection. Hence the filter to lessen the gross. Sometimes life doesn't go as planned. Gotta figure out a way to make it up.

Day 3;

Nothing exciting to report, work was hella busy so no pictures and now I'm just home relaxing! I'm exhausted lately due to a seriously insane weekend last week so I'm probably headed to bed at 7:30 tonight like the old lady I am. No food in my fridge sounded appealing for dinner so I'm gonna eat my free bagel from work, was gonna save it for breakfast but 🤷🏻‍♀️

Found lidocaine patches in a drawer in my bathroom. I really really thought I was out and it was making me so sad. Maybe a good nights rest finally.

Today was a no spend fail 🤦🏻‍♀️unavoidable, but had to replace the non existent weather stripping on my front door. At least, no more bugs! Total monthly spend :$15

Sometimes I get envious of people who seem to have more than me. But I'm also aware they are probably insecure about things they feel they need to. Positivity starts within. I need to learn to love what I do have, and stop lusting over things I want

Mac n cheese with hot dogs and guacamole with chips. I love that no one at my job eats the avacados. So I get like 3-4 free a week and make guacamole!

Day one closing out. No spend! I made guacamole from avacados from work and some salsa for lunch tomorrow and some oatmeal"cookies" for breakfast with dried cranberries. And waiting on my fudge nut brownies to be finish baking! Haven't felt this good about cooking at home in a while and I'm super hopeful to continue on a good path! Let's see what this week brings in the way of food and fun!

Homemade passions fruit tea, chicken pasta salad and applesauce. My job is amazing and has free Fruits and snacks almost every day. So I'm taking advantage of some apples while I can. I have avocados from last week and I'm gonna make guacamole for dinner 🙌🏻

Burned the shit out of my hand while making tea... luckily I had aloe in my fridge. First time I've had to use it. Found this random small bottle of spray water. Figured it couldn't hurt. My being a baby and eating skittles and left over Easter chocolate. My hand hurts :(

Iced coffee at home this morning. It was sort of nice to not have to get out of bed and rush to get dressed just to go sit in the drive thru for coffee. I got to sleep in an extra hour and it felt amazing. I am still feelings pretty optimistic about this whole thing. We will see how I am closer to half way through the month 😂
