“Trinity!” Dana calls out, making the girl whip her head around to face the blonde woman. “Your med student is here.” Trinity nods, making her way to you and tilting her head in wonder at your pink scrubs.
“Trinity Santos. I’ll be overseeing you for the next few months.” She holds her hand out as you gently introduce yourself.
“It’s really nice to meet you… Thank you for doing this… I know it’s probably not too fun.” She gives you a one over with a gentle smile.
“You seem like you’ll be interesting. The pink scrubs are certainly a choice.” You look down, feeling a small rush of insecurity.
“Are they too much? I just… wanted to wear a fun color… brighten things up maybe…” You say gently, nervously toying with the fabric.
“There’s nothing wrong with them! They’re just different. I’m glad you’re bringing a sense of fun; this department could definitely use it.” She smiles gently. “Let’s get you introduced to the computer system, and then we’ll start easy in triage, alright?” You nod, gently holding onto your stethoscope and following after the older girl.
“Hello, Mr. Adams, what seems to be your problem today?” The man scoffs, rolling his eyes.
“It’s this damn cough! I’ve already told another goddamn nurse about it!” He huffs. Trinity takes a small step closer, making you look up at her. She nods gently, egging you on.
“Have you been coughing anything up?”
“No! I’ve already explained that!”
“Alright, alright, sir. May I take a listen to your lungs?”
“Whatever.” He mutters, letting you step into his space and rest the bell of your stethoscope against his chest.
“What do you hear?” Trinity asks, raising a brow.
“Crackles at both bases.” She nods gently.
“What are you going to order?”
“Chest CT?”
“Good.” She nods, “Go ahead and put it in.”
“How long is that going to take?”
“Shouldn’t be more than an hour.” You say gently, moving to the computer.
“Another one? Are you fucking kidding me?! Does this pansy even know how to do her fucking job?!” He yells at Trinity, making you flinch.
“She knows exactly what she’s doing. I can make that chest film take another few hours if you’d like to keep talking to her like that.” Trinity barks defensively.
“Orders are in.” You say meekly, making Trinity nod. The two of you step away, and Trinity softly rests a reassuring hand on your arm.
“You ok?” You hesitate but shake your head softly.
“That’s ok. Always know when you’re not ok, alright? It’ll help you work better. Let's go take a breather in the breakroom.
“I don’t remember where that is.” You give her a weak, sniffly smile.
“C’mon.” She squeezes your hand before dropping and moving towards the break room.
“Nice barretts.” James snorts as you walk, making your shoulders shrink. The new barretts with pink and glittery match your stethoscope and scrubs.
“You’re like if a unicorn threw up in an ER,” Joy says blandly, not bothering to look up from her phone.
“Uh… thanks.” You mutter quietly, moving past them to the lockers. You sigh as you toss your bag into the small space, ignoring the way your eyes burned at the passive-aggressive comments.
“Morning.” Trinity smiles, walking up behind you. She pulls her locker open, the smile falling as she sees your expression. “You ok?”
“Fine… just… didn’t sleep well, I guess.” You shrug weakly.
“You sure?” She asks gently.
“I guess.” You murmur.
“Did something happen?”
“I’m just being dumb.” Trinity’s brows furrow.
“Talk to me. I need you on your A-game.”
“Just some more comments about my outfits. It’s not a big deal, I’m being dramatic.” You wave her off.
“Who was it?”
“I need to use the bathroom before we start.” You brush past her shoulder, trying to ignore the way your eyes burned. Her mouth opens to say something byt it snaps shut before she gets the chance.
The changes were slow but noticeable. First, it was your accessories. They disappeared slowly, lessening pink barettes and clips, then less pink earrings, then the necklaces. Not everyone noticed it, but Trinity did.
Then it was your stethoscope. It had been switched to a boring black and silver Litman, a far cry from the hot pink one that you adored. “Where’s your stethoscope?” Trinity asks you gently.
“What are you talking about?” You mention absent mindedly.
“The pink stethoscope, where’d it go?”
“I… don’t know. Think I lost it in my apartment.” You mutter distantly.
“It’s not because of what people have been saying, is it?”
“Don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“You know–” You harshly click off your computer and walk away quietly, leaving Trinity dumbfounded.
“I’m seeing it, too.” Dana butts in, making Trinity look up at her.
“Someone’s taking away her sparkle,” Trinity grumbles, leaning against the desk.
“She’s getting discouraged. You didn’t hear it from me, but Ogilvie is giving her a real hard time.”
“Are you serious?”
“He makes like twelve comments on her outfit every day.”
“Fuck… I can’t believe I didn’t notice…”
“Don’t beat yourself up, kid…”
“She’s got amazing skills… she’s really got what it takes… I hate seeing her like this.”
“Then do something about it. How about you two take the pediatric case in curtain four, alright? Hopefully that’ll brighten her day.” Trinity nods, slapping the counter gently before moving to find you.
“Hey! C’mon, patient in curtain four.” You nod gently, following after her. “Her name is Lilliana Jones, she’s got a cough and fever persistent for three days now.” You push gently into the room.
“Hi Lilliana!”
“Lily!” The little girl musters out, coughing loudly.
“Well, Ms. Lilly, that cough doesn’t sound too fun.” The girl frowns and shakes her head, watching you sit beside her bed.
“She’s been stuck at a fever of 103 for about three days now… I’ve tried a few different medicines, but it feels like nothing is working.” The mother frowns, despair and stress covering her face.
“We’re glad you brought her in, you’re doing good, mama.” Trinity smiles gently before turning to you. “What are we ordering?”
“Chest X-Ray, nose swab, and a blood test.” Trinity nods, signing into the computer.
“Pink,” Lilliana whispers gently, making you look back down at her.
“Pink?”
“Pink shirt!” She smiles, sitting up and tugging on the fabric of your scrub top.
“You’re right, sweetheart! I am wearing a pink shirt.” The girl smiles, missing teeth on full display. Trinity watches the small exchange, trying to ignore the warm pull beneath her ribcage.
“Mommy! Pretty doctor has pink shirt!” Lilliana proudly states, continuing to tug on your shirt, making your fond smile grow.
“You’re right, sweetheart.” The mother smiles gently, brushing the small girl’s hair back.
“Hey, Ms. Lilly, Ms. Trinity, and I need to do a test on you. Is that ok?” The young girl nods.
“It might be a little scary because we need to use a little tiny needle to get some of your blood,” Trinity explains gently.
“Mommy, stay?” You smile, holding the young girl’s hand.
“Mommy will stay right here with you,” Trinity assures gently.
“You were really good in there,” Trinity comments, squeezing your wrist softly before dropping your hand.
“Oh… thank you.”
“And maybe your love of pink is more important than you think.” She smiles, making your shoulders relax, a heat burning in your stomach.
“Thanks, Trinity.” She smiles.
“Course.”
The weeks passed slowly. Trinity stayed by your side, starting to slowly encroach on your heart. You had started working in traumas beside Trinity, her encouragement making your skills flare. “Hey.” She smiles, sliding up beside you. “I like the bow.” You reach up to gently touch the pink bow in your hair, heat creeping across your face.
“Oh… thank you.”You smile, feeling the familiar pull at her presence.
“Are you doing anything tonight?”
“What?”
“Are you doing anything tonight?” Your eyes widen, something twisting in your chest.
“Oh.. Uh– no.”
“Want to come to a bar with Huckleberry and me?” She smiles.
“Really?”
“Yeah! It’s Friday! Come let loose?”
“Can I meet you there? I want to wash the hospital off me.”
“Yeah! Yeah, of course. We should be at Club Sapphire around eight.” You nod gently, smiling softly, and open your mouth to say something, going dry at her gentle smile. “See you then.” She smiles again, patting your arm and walking off.
“Did you see the way she was looking at you?” Dennis nudges her side with a smile.
“What are you talking about?” She feigns innocence, but her blush gives her away.
“Isn’t pink your favorite color?” He teases, making her glance back at your pink scrubs.
“Maybe.” She smiles.
“I knew it.”
“I invited her to come to the bar.”
“Good. Mateo’s coming with me tonight, so you don’t need to worry about me.” Trinity smiles at the mention of Dennis’s boyfriend.
“I’m glad he makes you happy, Huckleberry.”
“I hope she makes you that happy.” He says gently, “You deserve it.”
The second your charts are done, you rush to your apartment, jumping in the shower. You rub lotion and body glitter into your freshly shaved skin before doing your hair and makeup. You decorate your lids with a glittery pink, adding a bright pink lip gloss. You clip pin barretts into your hair before moving to your closet to pull out a shimmery pink dress, paired with strappy pink heels and a small clutch. You give yourself another once over and take a deep breath before heading out the door.
The bar is vibrant, with bright lights illuminating the space with color. You hold your clutch close, glancing around until you see Trinity, Denni,s and Mateo at the bar. You approach timidly, Trinity lighting up as she notices your presence. “Hi! I’m so glad you came!” She smiles, pulling you into a tight hug before pulling back, gently holding your biceps. “You look amazing.” Her words make warmth burst through your chest, and you can’t help but smile.
“I didn’t know Mateo and Dennis were going out.” You look at the two men, who were extremely engrossed with each other, Mateo’s arm around Dennis’s middle as he looks down at him with a lovesick smile.
“It’s new. And don’t worry about them. Tonight’s about us.” She smiles. “Order anything you’d like, my treat.”
“Trinity, I can’t ask you to pay…”
“Well, good thing you didn’t ask, princess.” The nickname makes you freeze.
“Trinity…” You mutter gently, tracing random patterns on the counter.
“Am I coming off too strong?” She says gently, trying to meet your eyes.
“Uh… no. This… It’s a lot.”
“Bad a lot or good a lot?”
“Uh… good a lot.” You smile softly, glancing up to meet her eyes and making her mirror your expression. You signal gently for the bartender. “Can I get the cherry jubilee?” The woman nods kindly, beginning to mix up your drink.
“Can I touch you?” Trinity asks gently, shifts close,r and makes you nod. Her arm comes around your middle, fingers softly tracing along your hip bone. The touch makes you dizzy as you thank the bartender for your drink, the liquid making your blood thrum. “Did you know pink is my favorite color?” She smizes.
“Really?”
“Mhmm. Made me say when Ogilvie was starting to get to you about your outfits. Don’t change ‘em for anything, ok? Especially not a stupid man.” She giggles, making you smile.
“Thank you. Truly.” You whisper gently, heat creeping across your skin, and she moves closer.
“Course, princess. Want to go dancing?” You nod, downing the rest of your drink and letting her pull you along. The dancefloor thrummed with a vibrant energy. Her hands find your hips, pulling your back against her chest. Her hips gently move against yours, head buried against the soft skin of your neck with a smile.
The hours slowly blend beneath the lights, drinks in between songs making your body feel warmer than usual against hers. “Trinity.” You smile up at her giddily.
“Whatcha need, princess?” She smiles down at you, rubbing your sides softly.
“Wanna go home.” You frown gently, pressing your face against the warmth of her neck, taking in the mix of her perfume and musk.
“Want me to take you home?”
“No…” You whine with a tight frown, “Want to go home with Trinity.”
“Alright, alright, princess. Let’s go find Dennis, and we’ll go to my place, alright?” You smile, letting her pull you along. The two of you approach Dennis, who is being tightly held by Mateo, kissing along his neck.
“Huckleberry, we’re going back to the apartment! Don’t come back!”
“I’ve got him.” Mateo smiles, shooting Trinity a wink and making her nod with a smile.
“Goodnight!” You giggle happily, following after Trinity.
“Pretty, pretty princess, hm?” She smiles, pulling you gently into her apartment. It smelled of incense and sage, bright colored photos, and knick-knacks decorating the space. You nod and giggle happily at her attention. “Come sit, ok?” You stumble and plop onto the purple couch as she follows after you with a smile. “Let’s take these pretty shoes off, ok?” Her hands drift up to your ankles, toying with the straps of your heel. The warmth shoots up your leg, straight to your core, and makes your body purr with happiness.
“Trin…” You whine gently, head thrown back, her soft touch on your ankles making you shiver.
“Shh…” She soothes with a soft smile, setting your heels aside before gently massaging the balls of your feet, smiling, and your soft whining. “You’re being so good, sweetheart.” She smiles, kissing up your legs. “So soft.”
“Want to go to bed…” You mumble, finally looking back down at the older girl, her lips buried against your thigh.
“To sleep?” She teases as you pull a frown and shake your head. “For what baby?”
“Wanna lie down while we do this…” You huff, reaching out to brush your fingers through her hair.
“Alright, sweetheart.” She stands, kicking her heels off and grabbing your hands to pull you up. She places a gentle kiss on your lips, cupping your cheek and brushing her thumb along your cheekbone. You smile against her lips, hands gently finding her sides. “So pretty, hm?” She grabs your hands, pulling you gently through the hallway and into her room.
The space was crowded but comfortable, posters and photos coating the walls. Ambient lights hung from the ceiling, fake vines along with them. Her desk was cluttered with notes and textbooks, a stack of taro cards within the pile. “So pretty.” You smile, making her squeeze your hand.
The bed was packed with large, soft blankets, silk red sheets, and a wonderful stack of pillows. “Can I take this pretty dress off?” She mutters, kissing along your shoulder.
“Yes, please…” You shiver as her hands drift along your shoulders.
“Good girl… using your words.” She unzips the dress, letting it fall off your body and pool at your feet. You were braless, allowing her hands to creep up your chest and squeeze softly, making you moan loudly. “Even these panties are pink, hm?” She smiles, tracing the lace.
“Mhmm…” You nod, whining softly as her hands drift along your chest again. “Can I take your dress off?” You ask gently, turning to face the other girl.
“Of course you can, sweetheart.” She turns, and you brush her hair out of the way, hands untying the red dress. “Good girl, lie down for me, alright?” The dress falls to her feet, and she reaches behind herself to undo her bra. It matched her simple white panties, the fabric falling away to reveal the gorgeousness of her chest. “You doing ok?” She asks, crawling overtop of you.
“Yes…” You whine as she kisses along your sternum, biting your throat softly and soothing the sting with a kiss.
“Can I take these off?” She mutters gently against your skin, making your hips buck as her fingers drift across the top line of your panties. You nod enthusiastically. “Words, baby, words.”
“Yes, please…” You whine, making her smile and pull the fabric down your legs.
“Good girl.” She smiles, leaning in to kiss you deeply. Her tongue slips into your mouth as her fingers meet your soft fold, making you whine loudly against her lips and buck your hips into the touch. She’s gentle, fingertips softly rubbing from the warmth of your hole to the throbbing skin of your clit. “Look how pretty you are like this…” You mewl softly, leaning up to kiss her again.
“More–” You gasp out softly as she rolls your clit between her fingers.
“More? My pretty princess wants more?” She smiles, letting a finger slip into your warmth, making your eyes roll back. Kisses litter across your chest, sucking your nipples softly into your mouth. Moans slip past your lips, warmth simmering across your skin. Her finer slips in deep, curling against your G-spot.
“Trinity–” You mewl, arching up against her. “Kiss– please—” You heave. She smiles, meeting your demands with a smile. Her lips meet yours with a soft huff through her nose, her tongue pressing into the heat of your mouth. A second finger slips inside you, curling deliciously into your heat. You moan into her mouth, fingers dragging across the skin of her back as her fingers speed up.
“Come for me, sweetheart, c’mon.” She purrs, moving to kiss your neck. Your body spasms before your back arches, as you cry out loudly, wetness spilling from your core. “Good girl… so pretty.”
“Fuck…” You mutter, feeling your head clear. “So good, Trin…”
“Think you can handle another one? Haven’t even gotten to taste you yet.” She pulls her fingers from you, bringing them to her lips and humming the taste. “Let me taste you…” She begs, kissing you again.
“Please… Please, Trinity.” She nods, kissing down your chest, stopping to softly bite at your hardened nipples. Her tongue drifts across the softness of your abdomen, fingers trailing through the soft hair above your pussy.
“You ready?” You nod, letting your head fall back against the softness of her pillows. She wastes no time, letting her tongue plunge into your wetness and making you cry out pleasurably. “Look at this pretty pink pussy… You really do love pink, hm? Pretty pink princess?” She smiles, flattening her tongue to lick across your clit.
“Yes!” You cry out loudly, hand moving to grip her hair. The pain makes her moan against you, the vibrations making your hips jolt. Her hands snap to pin your hips against the mattress. Her tongue presses deep, nose drifting across your clit. The aftershocks from your previous orgasm make the pleasure creep in quicker. “Trinity– ‘m gonna–!” You moan, and she hums softly with encouragement as the grip on her hair tightens.
The pleasure spills over as she moans, listening to your soft cries of pleasure. She laps the wetness up with her tongue, working you through the orgasm until your hips still and you're letting out soft mewls.
“Good?” She smiles, kissing back up your chest and pressing a gentle peck against your lips.
“Very… I feel like jello.” You giggle breathily. “I feel bad… I feel like I should repay the favor.” She smiles, tucking your hair behind your ear.
“Can I get off on your thigh, baby? That’s all I need.” You nod, watching her stand and pull her underwear off. A strand of arousal sticks to the fabric as it slips down her legs. “So pretty, all worn out for me.” She smiles. “You ready?”
“Yes…” You breathe out, watching the older woman mouth the skin of your thigh, her arousal sticking warmly to your skin. Your hands drift to her thighs as she begins to move her hips, head thrown back, mouth in a soft O. “Fuck, Trin, you’re gorgeous…” You smile, watching as she slowly starts to move her hips.
“So good, princess.” She breathes out, meaning gently, and shuts her eyes. She braces herself with her hands clamped around the soft skin of your hips. “So good, baby.” She speeds up, whining getting louder.
“Come for me– please–” You instruct gently, the older woman’s movements stuttering as she throws her head back with a loud moan.
“Fuck–! You’re fucking amazing, sweetheart…” She smiles, moving to lie beside you. “You’re gorgeous.”
“Thank you, Trinity.” You smile, moving to lie against her bare chest. Her fingers drift up to softly pet your head.
“Always, princess.” She smiles, kissing your forehead.
“How’s my favorite med student?” She smiles, bumping your hip softly as she finds you near the hub the next Monday morning. Heat immediately creeps across your skin, eyes drifting to the hickey peeking out of her scrubs.
“I’m… I’m alright.” You manage out, swallowing softly.
“Just alright, princess?” She teases, letting her fingers drift across your knuckles.
“I’m good.” You smile gently.
“Good, c’mere.” She mutters, motioning towards an empty supply closet.
“I have a question.” You say gently, letting her grab your hands as the door shuts.
“What’s that, princess?”
“Was it a one-time thing? Just a hookup?” You ask quietly, insecurity creeping through your tone, as you look down at your pink scrub pants.
“Hey…” She smiles gently, “Look at me…” You hesitantly look up at her, seeing her kind smile. “I’d love to continue this… I’d really love to, baby… If you’ll let me.” She says, cupping your cheek and watching you smile. “There’s my girl…”
“I’d… like that, too,” You admit gently, making her pull you into a soft kiss.
“Can I be your girlfriend?” She asks gently.
“Please.” You smile, shoulders relaxing as you kiss her again.
“I’ve got the prettiest princess in the hospital as my girlfriend.” She smiles, placing a soft peck to your lips and making heat creep across your cheeks. “Perfect… you’re so fucking perfect.”
